Is Oxybutynin dangerous to dogs? I am not sure my dog ate a pill, but I did drop 1 or 2 on the floor. I found one. My 6-month-old spaniel/lab mix is about 30 lbs.

Funny enough you mention this I took Oxybutynin for awhile and a bit excessively, I keep thinking that this messed up my gut and caused this curse of a phenomenon.

I came up with something interesting... TRANSDERMAL MAGNESIUM . It says that anxiety and panic are caused my lack of magnesium and other minerals and nutrients. We eat so much **** this day in age... even if it seems healthy, foods are processed... and lack so many nutrients and minerals. Do you think this could be true? I'm thinking about giving it a shot... and coming off my lexapro... if it doesnt work I'll go back on the lexapro. I've only been taking lexapro for 2weeks now.

Can I take 2 or 3 Ibuprofen and 1 phenazoptridine 100mg and 1 oxybutynin 5mg The Dr, gave me Cipro to take 2 hrs, before I go to Drs, will this help me or not? If not what can I do to prevent the bad pain I hear about after stent removal. please help me.

I'm 33 year old male, I was diagnosed with phimosis 2yrs ago. I've been having the constant urge to urinate but with only a low flow and sometimes spraying. I've been through testing for uti, std, bladder cancer (cystoscopy) but yet know one can give me an answer as to why I always have the urge. I've taken meds (flomax, oxybutynin, and diptromin) none of them worked. Help!!! I'm to young for this to be happening.

Hello Everyone, I am a 32 male, 5'10, 205lbs. I work out 5-6 times a week and eat on the healthier side. As far back as I can remember I get hot extremely easily and sweat profusely on my forehead, middle of my chest, and middle of my back. Get your urologist or GP to prescribe you an anti-spasmodic medication. I use Oxybutynin, as it works best for me, but there are numerous others on the market. Are you sure your stone is 4cm??? That's awfully large for a kidney-stone. There are 'staghorn' stones that form inside the kidney itself and fill the cavities of the kidney (the 'poles' of the kidney) that may get that large, but the chances of having a 4cm stone in your bladder are slim.

Please ask your vet if Amitriptyline, Prozac, or other behavioural medication might be effective for his compulsive behavior. Amitriptyline can be give topical as a transdermal medication placed on the ear skin. This medication can be made into a transdermal by a compounding pharmacy.

PS. The other drugs I'm taking are...Chlortalidone, Oxybutynin, and Lisinopril. I take cal/citrate, fish oil, flax and E along with those prescribed meds.

My 7 y.o. is awaiting a pediatric urology appt but is currently taking oxybutynin 10 mg. After months of her primary thinking it was vag related, a ped gyn dx'd bladder contraction/spasms. These are daily... all day... and now waking her in the night. She is going half crazy from the constant discomfort, which she eases by pressing on her vag area. This is interfering, of course, with her everday life.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my question, I was pleasantly surprised. She is on a transdermal medication for the hyperT and I'm wondering if she may be allergic to it. Seems the incessant licking started when she went on the meds. It's tough to watch her lose her bearings and start walking in to walls as a result of the blindness. During our last visit to the Vet, I was told that she was not blind because her pupils dialated when a light was shone on them.

If you do the transdermal route, should you still take an oral supplement too? Anyone have any suggestions on where to purchase a transdermal oil or gel online and is one better than the other? There is transdermal (through the skin) magnesium. Not sure how this will go if you develop hives easily. You could try testing before buying. I bought Ancient Minerals transdermal (through the skin) oil at my local health food store. I found it stings a bit sometimes so i splash a bit of water onto the area and it's fine. The Ancient Minerals "Transdermal Magnesium Therapy" and "Magnesium Application and Use" articles are very informative.
