4133020 tn?1350310377 If a person is used to a sedentary lifestyle, and suddenly starts exercising, they will notice profuse sweating, and edema in the hands and feet. I would start slowly, and work up to a walk, then to a run-walk, then to jogging... Begin with simple stabilization exercises. Balancing, short walks, etc, and speak to a trainer, and a dietitian. Often swelling, and temperature variations (Hot Flashes) can be the result of diet. Drink plenty of WATER!! NO SODA, SWEET TEA, or anything Manufactured!
Avatar f tn Hello Everyone, I am a 32 male, 5'10, 205lbs. I work out 5-6 times a week and eat on the healthier side. As far back as I can remember I get hot extremely easily and sweat profusely on my forehead, middle of my chest, and middle of my back. The heat seems to come in almost a wave, and I can feel it rising until it reaches my head(hope this description makes sense), and I can never seem to cool down. An odd part about this is, on occasion, my feet will be extremely cold at the same time.
Avatar f tn Though hyperhidrosis may refer to excessive sweating or perspiration, in a broad sense, but still excessive sweating into arm pits ends up at a cosmetic clinic. Bad smelling arm pits (may or may not be present), uncomfortableness, lessened social activity , or clothing to mask ,low self esteem can be annoying. It might happen to various reasons psychological, emotional and social perspective, medical conditions or unknown causes.
Avatar f tn I would also call an emergency vet to let them know what happened. Depending on what could happen because of the ingestion of the pill, it could be that your dog needs supportive care, and the sooner this care is begun, the more successful it will be.
Avatar f tn when i was younger it was just my hands and feet that would drip sweat, little did i know the fun adolescents would bring....more sweating and the terrifingly understanding world of high school and all the great and compassionate peolpe there. i'm totally joking yeah public ridicule, especially prom yeah i was the girl with the pit stains on my dress, every parent wanted me in the pic....not! well needless to say i feel your pain. it's extremely embarassing.
Avatar f tn didn't your surgeon tell you that there was a chance of compensentory sweating and if he didn't he should have. it's been known that ets can cause compensentory sweating in the back and legs after said surgery.ets really is only for people with minor hyperhidrosis mostly occurring in the hands it has not had good results for people with more extensive hyperhidrosis such as your daughters. i myself suffer from hyperhidrosis i'm 23 yrs. old.

Avatar f tn I'm 33 year old male, I was diagnosed with phimosis 2yrs ago. I've been having the constant urge to urinate but with only a low flow and sometimes spraying. I've been through testing for uti, std, bladder cancer (cystoscopy) but yet know one can give me an answer as to why I always have the urge. I've taken meds (flomax, oxybutynin, and diptromin) none of them worked. Help!!! I'm to young for this to be happening.
Avatar f tn I was in the hospital last week with a bad UTI and bladder infection, and I am still really hurting but everything I heard said once it hits the bladder it should not hurt. What should I do?

461014 tn?1233100391 Oh, and have her drink lots of water and cranberry juice - if she doesn't like the juice, they make cranberry pills that will clean the bladder very quickly. UTI has nothing on cranberries :) Maybe that will help with the odor/color. It sounds like her urine is just concentrated, nothing serious.
Avatar f tn Hi all, a bit about my history, have had an overactive bladder treated for about last 20 years with oxybutynin and whilst not perfect, everything was fine to live a normal lifestyle, play sports, gym, go out drinking etc, I’m now 38, male. A couple of years ago I felt like what was a trapped nerve around my coccyx area and was unable to sit down for a couple of days, the pain was excruciating.
Avatar f tn PS. The other drugs I'm taking are...Chlortalidone, Oxybutynin, and Lisinopril. I take cal/citrate, fish oil, flax and E along with those prescribed meds.
Avatar n tn My 7 y.o. is awaiting a pediatric urology appt but is currently taking oxybutynin 10 mg. After months of her primary thinking it was vag related, a ped gyn dx'd bladder contraction/spasms. These are daily... all day... and now waking her in the night. She is going half crazy from the constant discomfort, which she eases by pressing on her vag area. This is interfering, of course, with her everday life.
1335869 tn?1275658008 About five months ago, the strictures began causing problems of retention and a catheter has been reinserted using a flexi-scope to help. Now he is having problems with constantly feeling that he needs to pass urine. I feel that he is misinterpreting the presence of the catheter in his bladder as urine. Is there anything I can do to help him? He doesn't remember anything I say and is so uncomfortable!
Avatar f tn hello I also have I.C. and have had a full hysterectomy over a year ago and I think that's what caused mine I love how you put how you feel me to, I can't remember the last time I felt good I take Elmiron 100mg and Oxybutynin it helps alot and Pyridum it turns your pee orange and stains panties but takes the burn out of it when I pee.
Avatar f tn Also I urinat about 20 times a day and about 15 times at night yes I have tried vesicare and oxybutynin. I also have just had a bladder distention but all this was going on before the bladder distention.
Avatar f tn t matter where I am, all of a sudden i will get a hot flush and start sweating. I also get anxious for no reason which makes me start to sweat even more :(. I've been hypo for 9 years and I'm guessing its down to that, it's really frustrating. Anyone else gone through this?
Avatar n tn Like JW, I've experienced sweating sometimes as a sign of being low, but what you describe sounds to me like a pre-menopausal symptom. From what I've read (I'm also not a doctor), pre-menopause often begins in our 30s altho' many docs/women don't think about it in women under 40. At Walgreens.com I found a product called a Chillow that has been helpful for me when I'm uncomfortably hot.
974371 tn?1424653129 I wake up almost every morning around 5:00 AM sweating and have an upset stomach. The stomach upset pretty much continues through the day. I think I have had about every test done. I actually have a monitor on now for a capsule endoscopy. I have Zofran, which does nothing but make my mouth and throat drier and gives me a headache. Ginger tea helps a little. Why would I wake up sweating and nauseated when I am sleeping?
Avatar m tn Hello, i'm taking about 3 months propranolol 10mg for migraines - twice a day, morning and evening. I suffer from social anxiety, but the doctor does not know ..
