Avatar f tn perhaps others can expand on the benefits of massage, stretching, and yoga. for me tho i've not been dedicated enough about these activities to experience the benefits. so far the relief is only temporary & the pains return the next day if not just a few hours later. what helps for me is to drink plenty of water & over time, built up a high "tolerance".

Avatar f tn I think I told you my mom has severe back issues. Osteoarthritis, terrible scoliosis and her spine is basically disintegrating and she is bone on bone. She wakes up screaming in pain every day. She won't do the pain meds because she's watched me go through hell and back and doesn't want to live a life shackled to them.

Unlike the more common osteoarthritis, R.A. is an autoimmune disease in which the immune system attacks and inflames the joints. It can cause serious damage to large and small joints and to many other organs in your body. I have found that early diagnosis with frequent early follow-up, along with an initially more intensive treatment strategy, is crucial in optimizing the best outcomes in this disease. MEDICATION Q.

I learned that I have degenerative disc disease, osteoarthritis in my spine, minor scoliosis and nerve damage- I even had a shoulder surgery on a bone spur because I kept getting tendinitis and the doctors couldn't cure my arm pain.
