I just found out I'm pregnant a few days ago. My morning sickness is really all day, all night sickness. Any suggestions on foods or anything?
Yes, in MOST cases it works, and most cases works wonders, it is the generic for Zofran, I have been off and on Zofran most my life due to GI disorders which cause severe nausea/vomiting and Zofran, or it's generic, has been a godsend for that AND for my morning sickness in both my first pregnancy and my current one.
Mine comes and goes, some days I can eat everything and have cravings and others I can't even look at food or drink anything. I find that cold water and lemon helps. But if you have it all the time just try to eat light foods like crackers things like that.

Hello! This is me and my husband's first pregnancy/baby :-) I am 8.5 weeks and the morning sickness is so bad I can't anything! I go from bed to couch back to bed... I work full time and have had to call out several times so far... MD gave me some anti nausea pills they kind of work but mostly put me to sleep...any suggestions?
During your next doctors appointment, ask for Zofran. The generic (ondansetron hcl) is usually really cheap, and it's a miracle. I have not just morning sickness, but all day, 24/7 sickness annnnd I work in an ER where smells are abundant. I have spoken with not only my OB, but several ER docs and they all swear by Zofran. The usual prescription is 4mg, but you can take up to 8mg at a time.
My Dr has tried two different meds so far, ondansetron and promethazine. Neither have worked, I have to go in today cause I haven't been able to keep down food for 2 days now.
I have tereible all day morning sickness. I'm always hungry but its hard to eat because I feel nauseated. Any ideas to help?
Omg it's awful. This is my 5th pregnancy and it's by far the worse. I had virtually no sickness with my boys. This time im having my first girl and feel like she's literally sucking the life out of me.
There are some lawsuits related to it recently, but my doctor said he's never had a patient with an issue. He's still cautious not to use it though and gave me B6 instead. However, I have several family members who took it for the entire 2nd and 3rd trimester and had no problems. If you're getting dehydrated and can't get enough nutrition, your doctor may have judged that the benefits outweigh the risks for you.
Ondansetron 4mg the disolve on ur tounge the taste fruity and one a day keep the sickness away!
I am 12 weeks and have terrible morning sickness and nausea. the wafers are all that works. i am having trouble getting a script larger than four wafer or tablets. its really started to drive me mental. i am having to go to the doctor every four days just so i am able to function for work. any suggestions on how to get around this problem??
Try ginger ale. I had HORRIBLE morning sickness and that was the only thihng that kind of eased it. Eat slower and more times a day but smaller meals. Don't drink as much while eating. Don't move too fast. Try crackers or toste. Preggy pops. Motion bands. Those are somethings I tryed. They didn't really work, but you would always try it. I had to get a prosciption medication and stop my prenatal vitamins. I take Zofran before I eat. It's such a life saver, honestly.
I'm eight weeks pregnant and my morning sickness just gets worst every day can't even hold anything down. Got prescribed pills from my obgyn anyone have the same thing that can help ? Any remedies ladies ?
Im currently 10wks pregnant with my second baby.iv been so sick 4wks of 24/7 nausea and 1 1/2 weeks of vomiting and I was unable to keep food or fluids down I was prescribed ondansetron wafers and maxolon tablets and vitamin b6 unfortunately this didn't help me at all and resulylted in going to the hospital for a IV drip.
I have terrible morning sickness and I was given a prescription for ondansetron 4mg which is the generic version of zofran. I'm scared to take it because of the possible side effects and the warnings I've seen on TV. I don't want to take any risks when it comes to my baby. Any thoughts on this?
Ok I'm 7 weeks and I've been having crazy morning sickness for 3 weeks. Smh. I can't keep anything down. Its so different from my first pregnancy. Wasn't nearly this sick. Tried bland foods. Tried the food I'm craving. Water. Juice. Ginger ale. Nothing helps. Even tried warm water. Horrible. What do I do?
I have horrible motion sickness and pretty bad morning sickness. If I lay still while a fan is on me im fine otherwise I feel miserable. Haven't even been to work because every time I move I gag or puke. I have tried peppermint and ginger ale neither helps much. Any ideas on how to stop this so I can work?
