taking zofran for morning sickness

I tak zofran and it helps with my morning sickness my dr told me it was safe to take

I'm 8 weeks today and dealing with similar things. I've found that mints like Altoids and mint gum really helps calm the nausea. Also protein snacks like yogurt, protein shakes, string cheese etc helps too. I've been taking zofran and for the constipation I've been taking miralax and that had helped a lot, even though it took a few days. Exercise had also helped with both nausea and constipation. I hope it gets better!

Is there anyway to stop morning sickness? I know there's a video on here that has tips to help prevent it but I'm not able to watch it. So I was wondering if anybody watched it or just has helpful tips.

I used to have morning sickness but didn't throw up much either, it went away and ever since I hit 30 weeks I've been so nauseous it's getting bad.

How do you deal with really bad morning sickness??? I have nausea pills but my all day sickness is so bad I can't keep the medicine in long enough to work... what do I do???

I would be careful taking medication for morning sickness. Although they say its safe, sometimes it has last effects on the baby. My mom to medication for it while pregnant with my brother and it caused him to have learning disabilities.

Nothing worked for me but zofran and phenergan ..I'm 26w3days and still taking the phenergan ...zofran is the best but my insurance only pays for 12 of them and I get 50 of the other.....I avoid any food that if I smell it turns my stomach believe it or not the only thing my baby doesn't turn down is hard candy ...

ZOFRAN! Ask for Zofran. I'm 19 weeks tomorrow and still dealing with it but Zofran- AMAZING! I couldn't even eat before and it's worked wonders for me.

m taking doxylamine at night and zofran in the morning so far my morning sickness has been controlled I just hate taking doxylamine it makes me sleepy at night and I don't feel safe :(

s really making it hard to not stress and just enjoy this experience. What makes some women have morning sickness and some not? Also, what helps?

Zofran is category b drug. Your baby is safe :) I had to take that as well in the beginning and now I am 34w4d with twin girls who are very healthy. Also I work in a pharmacy. Congratulations on your pregnancy.

i was sick all day everyday frim solids to liquids for the first 5 months and im having a boy. Secondly ask your doctor for zofran and although it wont make it go away it will subside it some to help you keep foods down. Also try really small meals throughout the day. Ive only gained 8 pounds my whole pregnancy and im 33 weeks but i started to have more of an appetite around week 30. Hope the zofran helps and good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.

Today I had the ultrasound and I am 7 weeks 5 days. Does anyone have any tips On how to survive this (hopefully) last month of morning sickness?? I've lost 7 lbs in 2 weeks because I can't keep anything down.

So I just got diagnosed with excessive morning sickness. There is some fancy name for it as well but I can't remember it. This is my sec. Pregnancy and I'm 7 weeks along. I have been so uncomfortable for the past 3 weeks I can't keep anything down and I'm always nauseous. My doc. decided to have a nurse come out to my house once a week and give me fluids and today they are going to start a zofran pack. Anyone ever had this experience before?

I started getting morning sickness when i was 13weeks im now 16wks but i feel its getting less and less nausea like i wont get morning sickness everyday morning now.

Anyone else dealing with severe morning sickness? I've been in the hospital once this week due to dehydration. The doctor has me taking zofran every 6 hours and that's now helping me keep fluids ( water and Gatorade) down but barely any food. I've already lost 10 pounds in the last 2 weeks. Doctor is currently not concerned about weight loss or food intake just the fluids. I'm just reaching out to see if anyone else is having these issues.

For about 4 days I have been completely symptom free and have been able to quit taking my Zofran! Most exciting part, just in time for the Holidays! I can grub down and not have to worry about running to the bathroom!! I am currently 11w 4d (which also means less than 200 days til my due date! Yay). This morning sickness is really getting to me now, im 12 weeks ans 5 days, but im constantly feeling nausea all day, i cant eat anythink till about 9pm at night, i cant get out of bed and some days im throwin up :( ,, i dunno what i can do, i have tried the gibger biscuits they dont work, i even got tablets from my GP to help but they dont seem to work really, has anyone got an suggestions on what i can do??

its no fun but get a script for Zofran and Pepcid. Zofran is for morning sickness and is a life saver!! and Pepcid helps alot when its with Zofran bc it stops and prevents Heartburn. i dont think i would have my sanity if it werent for these two meds.
