Avatar m tn I was diagnosed with kidney stones (3.6mm and 5.4mm) and it's been 5 days I take medicine (rowatinex, omnic, diclofenac, omeprazole, no-spa). I masturbated twice since and I didn't produce any semen while I felt like i had orgasm. After I peed, I still didn't notice any semen in my pee.

Avatar f tn Obviously, I am concerned with having malignant tumors. Does anyone know if cysts and/or kidney stones could have that effect on WBC count? Any input would be appreciated.
Avatar f tn It could be gas, polycystic ovary, muscle pull, nerve impingement, kidney stone or even infection of the gut. Take Omeprazole empty stomach in morning and an antacid gel at bedtime. Refrain from smoking, alcohol, fuzzy drinks, caffeine, and spicy food. Walking around also helps clear gas. If it does not help, consult a doctor. Take care!
Avatar f tn I had loads of vague symptoms like this for a very long time and eventually gall bladder was septic with stones and had to be removed. Check back with your doctor though as it could be any number of things. All the best.
Avatar f tn could have a crack bottom rib or kidney stones or just a real bad urine infection that has spread to your kidneys antibiotics will fix that
Avatar f tn Take omeprazole (empty stomach in morning) and antacid gel and see if it helps. Liver and kidney dysfunction is another cause. Hence kidney and liver function tests should be done. Other causes are diabetes and hypothyroidism. Electrolyte imbalance too can cause nausea. IBS, gluten or lactose intolerance, parasites in gut too can be the cause. A stool test should be done for worms, giardiasis etc. Also if nothing is found then food challenge test to detect food intolerance should be done.
Avatar n tn I had a stone that blocked my kidney and even after blasting would not come out without being scooped out. This was in my left kidney. Kidneys were both checked out thoroughly for damage and other stones - neither of which was found. Questions are...Since it has been two months and I haven't passed any stones are they likely to just stay put? If the larger one gets stuck after I have my surgery will they be able to go in and get it out without cutting me or screwing up the TVT?
Avatar f tn I was diagnoesd with the gastritis last year via physical exam according to my symstoms like bloating and stomach pain never don an endoscopy i was on and off for PPI (omeprazole and pantoprazole) but never get healed.. Then after that my gp ask for ultrasounds scan and they found multiple stone.. But a bit curios my stomach symptoms are differnt fron gallstone symptoms normally gallstone symptoms are pain in right under the ribcage which is never had that pain..
Avatar f tn I went to the ER twice for it and both times they did a EKG, blood work, chest xrays, ct scan, the works. Nothing showed up wrong. They said it was acid reflux and gave me some omeprazole. Ive been on it for a week and a half now and it isnt helping at all. It usually only seems to occur while im at work? But im most active at work too tho.. it feels better when i sit. I did have a ultrasound done of my gallbladder and they said it was distended but didnt need to come out.
Avatar f tn Has she had a CT Scan w/o contrast in regard to the stones? What has it shown? I have an uncommon kidney condition called MSK (Medullary Sponge Kidney) along with having had out 1/2 my thryoid bcz of nodules that were atpical but my parathyroids were fine and all tests were A-OK that both my Uro and Endo have run inc. a 24hr urine test. Has your daughter had a 24hr urine test? That is important too.

Avatar m tn I have had half a dozen kidney stones. I passed all but the last one. The last one was stuck in my ureter and I had it removed surgically. I wish I would have had the surgery sooner rather than waiting a couple weeks hoping it would pass. The fever is probably a result of the stone and the sooner you can get it out, the better.
Avatar f tn I wonder if anybody else has experienced diarrhea with kidney stones? I have had upwards of 40 kidney stones in the past four years but somehow still have no answers as to why my body is producing these or how to relieve them. And i never fail to turn up new symptoms or troubles. I have been having dark urine and a lot of kidney pain lately and I'm sure I have another stone working its way out of my kidney...
Avatar f tn How unusual is it for the stones to be in this meaty part of my kidney and since they are still in my kidney aren’t they just going to continue to grow larger? Are these stones causing damage to my kidneys? They don’t seem to be causing any blockages based on the ultrasounds that have been done, but I still have had frequent flank pain and blood visible in my urine prior to the surgery. Is there any hope that I will be able to be stone free and prevent more stones?
Avatar m tn m 19 years old and I have been having intense pain in my kidney area on both sides for about 4 months, and I have been to 2 urologists. While they have diagnosed me with kidney stones and they said that I have a couple of small stones in each kidney, but they are not blocking anything so they are not the cause of my pain. I have also been to a physical therapist who said it is not musculoskeletal. I have also been having hematuria for at least 2 months.
Avatar m tn Has anyone here with kidney stones tried vitamin B6 and magnesium to prevent new stones from forming? I read a study that concluded that taking 50 mg of B6 daily with 300 mg of magnesium oxide (one of the least absorbable forms of magnesium) will prevent future kidney stones. I also read that potassium and B6 does the same. Perhaps the magnesium works because potassium is better absorbed if there is sufficient magnesium.
Avatar m tn kidney stones can be very recurring and can start very young, although ive never heard of someone getting them in their early teens.. usually early 20s, but that doesnt mean it doesnt happen earlier. it sounds like you will have to sit in some pain until you get insurance again. you can try to seek out clinics, but theyre not very good at helping. get your insurance back and go to a dr, because if you have them so often, you might have something else going on.
Avatar f tn Thx for your response I have passed one of the stones in the hospital a few days ago still have another in my right ureter and a 7mm in my right kidney and several small stones 35 wks pg now and they are going to induce me in two weeks due to the kidney stones causing contractions and wanting me to have lithotripsy after her birth. I was told I wouldn't be able to pass the 7mm stone without intervention what are my chances with that they said its in the middle of the kidney.
Avatar f tn m not a physician though and only know about kidney stones since I have suffered with them for well over 30 years and well over 30 plus stones. I hope you get the answers you are seeking and I would suggest asking a physician who would know for sure.
Avatar n tn I've had kidney stones for years and was always told it was caused by too much Uric Acid in the body. Who knows?
Avatar n tn This one involves pus in the kidney and surrounding sack. His right kidney, where all of the stones have been, is down to less than 25% output and may have to be removed. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be causing this and what the outcome might be?
Avatar n tn These agents aren't known to cause kidney stones. Most kidney stones in the US are caused by our diet which is rich in meat protein. Calcium supplementation does increase the risk of kidney stones. As far as the blood pressure goes, he should probably have his dose of the lisinopril reduced. Alternatively, there are other agents such as calcium channel blockers, beta blockers or Angiotensine receptor blockers that can also be tried. I would probably avoid diuretics at this point.
Avatar n tn Hi, Are there other symptoms present? A kidney stone is a solid mass made up of tiny crystals which may present as abdominal pain, blood in the urine, chills, excess urination at night, fever, flank pain or back pain, painful urination or urinary frequency/urgency. Abdominal CT scan, xrays or ultrasound of the kidneys will confirm the diagnosis of kidney stones. Menstruation problems are hormone and stress related.
2206935 tn?1373638605 Right upper abdominal and chest pain can be due to cholecystitis (inflammation of gall bladder), stones in gall bladder, abscess under the diaphragm, liver problems or due to duodenal ulcer. Right flank pain is generally due to kidney stones. Pain on right side of belly button can be chronic appendicitis, ir IBS or Crohn’s. Take Omeprazole empty stomach in morning and an antacid gel at bedtime. Refrain from smoking, alcohol, carbonated drinks and spicy food.
