Ocella low dose

Common Questions and Answers about Ocella low dose

yaz

Avatar f tn Well Ocella is the generic for Yasmin. I was taking Yasmin for 2 years, when last month I was given Ocella. Well I wasn;t too thrilled with it, as I had cramps for 5 days plus I started my period 1 day late. They say generic is always the same, but for me I felt a difference. It could be from the pill. Your body needs to adjust being on it. Side affects should lessen by the third month.
Avatar m tn I was wondering if switching birth control pills could have helped maximize the anxiety. I switched from yaz to ocella and have only been on ocella for a few months and the anxiety started like a month ago.
Avatar f tn My healthy 20 yr. old daughter was taken Ocella Birth Control Pills for 2- 3 months when she began experiencing severe headaches. She would take Tylenol, and eventually the headache would go away. At the time we did not make the relation between headaches and birth control pills. One particular day she complained of a headache, pain in her right shoulder/arm, blurry vision in her right eye, and she couldn't remember certain things that normally she remembered.
Avatar f tn I am currently on Ocella (generic for Yasmin), I have been on it for almost a month, I start the inactive pills tomorrow night. Before I took Ocella, I was taking Yaz(and I switched immediatly). My last period lasted for 3-4 days. I should start my period on March 11th. Yesterday I had light pinkish/red blood when I wiped and some cramping and now I am having light brown discharge that is odorless. I have not missed any pills, and I do have unprotected sex.
Avatar n tn Earlier in May I missed three days of my pills and started to bleed. So I stopped taking it because I was going into my placebo week. I had my period then stopped for a day or two then started spotting that's never happen to me. I got my new pack and started taking them and now I feel nauseous as ever and I'm in my second week going to my third week...
Avatar f tn hi Doc , the result of my hsg shows i have blockages around my tubes not inside the tube my doctor advise to continue trying for another sixmonths which has past but still not pregnant and my husband has a low sperm count please what do i do at this stage save my marriage pls.
Avatar f tn I had to bring her a print out, and this was on my second appointment. In the beginning she prescribed ocella, I stoped because it was making me bleed. She told me that I shouldn't had stoped because it was my body adapting to the pill. When I read about Lybrel, I immediately printed the information and asked for it. I had faith on this pill. My period started on Feb. 11 while on Lybrel and I have menstrual staining, occassional bleeding, every single day.
Avatar f tn Recently I switched to nights and I've found it difficult to maintain taking my birth control on time ( I've been on ocella for years). Before my bf and I started having sex I had one very brown only slightly bloody period for a few days. We had sex for the first time (protected) around June 12 and around June 23 I had very dark brown bleeding for about 2-3 days. too early for my period. I'm worried it may be implantation bleeding.
Avatar n tn If you like bananas and orange juice, try to eat those and drink OJ at least once a day and see what happens. Your potassium levels may be low which can cause the dizziness and headaches. The OJ will provide the Vitamin C that we need as well. I hope this helps. Also, you may want to request a MRI just to be on the safe side.
757137 tn?1347196453 Is it possible to be come addicted to a low dose of Xanax? I take half of a 0.25 mg. pill in the morning and the other half in the evening, It is most helpful but I worry that I will need increasing doses as time goes by, or that I will suffer withdrawal if I quit. Does anyone have information on this subject?
Avatar f tn s 100mg, to put that in prospective when you take aspirin for a headache you take 600mg.
Avatar f tn Anyone heard of low dose immunotherapy for treating lyme and co-infections? Specialty Natural Medicine in WA state offers this treatment for lyme. A detailed description is on their website. It's supposed to divert your immune system away from the bacteria. The thinking is that your body's immune response to the bacteria is what is causing your symptoms and that it is fighting a losing battle. It's a new treatment they say it has great success.

683167 tn?1302879300 the problem with low dose naltrexone is there are no real studies been done to prove its affect ......... I know one person who started to take it and she said it took a while before she noted any affects about 6 months i think my memory isnt good any more. IF it makes you feel better after taking it could it mean that the drug makes you feel worse when you are taking it if you get my meaning? Sorry not very clear even in my head lol. This is a good web site all about it. http://www.

428506 tn?1296557399 I was wondering if anyone else has experience with low-dose (5 mg/day) oral hydrocortisone. Below I describe the role it is playing my treatment. My LLMD Rx-ed this based on my persistent, sometimes disabling, fatigue. At first I didn't take it because I was worried about potential immune suppression, since this is a steroid. But in a follow-up I was assured that this is a super low ("sub-clinical") dose. Plus I am still on abx.
Avatar f tn I have been on Ocella for the past 10 months. I'm finding that the past few months I am consistently anxious and depressed. I am concerned that it could be the birth control that I am on. I would like to know if there are any b.c. pills that limit this side effect. I also find that my libido is less strong. All of these symptoms are affecting my relationship. Any suggestions?
Avatar f tn SO they gave me Ocella, the generic of Yasmine....for the first time I had side effects. On Yasmine, I had not side effects that bothered me enough to take into account. All I know is after years of riding the roller coaster of PMDD /Hairloss/body hair growth, I felt like the sun came back up on Yasmine. My nurse changed me to Yaz in July. As I write this I about to switch back to Yasmine and the pharmarcy has lost my presciption..so I am cying!

Avatar f tn No they are not the same. Yasmin or Ocella is a lower dose of birth conrtol, while Yaz is prescribed more often to those who suffer from PMDD (Premenstrual dysphoric disorder). Yasmin is one of the best birth control pills out there for those who suffer with PCOS. I've been on it for 2 years, with a break of 6 months. I just started a new pill pack this month again. I too suffer from migraines, but the pill does not give me any.
Avatar n tn Although they claim to not have any difference, I was on Yasmin (brand name) for a while and then was switched too Ocella (Generic) and I did notice slight changes in my period. In fact, I never missed a single period on Yasmin, but did miss one while on Ocella. The blue veins, I mean if your fair skin like me, I notice the veins all the time. Sometimes they are bluer then normal, but you can't always go by that being a symptom of pregnancy.
