That's terrible! I would search for any lawsuits against the manufacturer of Fosamax for injury like this resulting on facial bone loss and tooth loss. Seems to be me they should pay for any corrective dental or medical treatment and pay compensation for pain and suffering. I've read negative things about this drug and it's ironic that it is advertised as preventing bone loss, and yet it accelerates it.

I have been having really bad heartburn and a burning feeling in my stomach. I was told to take Nexium but I have a severe allergy to penicillin. My question is, can I take nexium if I'm allergic to penicillin?

My dr prescriped nexium for me. It is a miracle worker. Nothing over the counter woukd work for me. It was terrible. Nexium was a life saver. I dont have heartburn at all now. You can actually buy it over the counter now too i think, its pricey, but definitely worth the money.

Im currently taking omeprazole 40mg a day and i need to stop its rated a class C for pregnancy. However when i stopped before i had horrendous heartburn i was so miserable i was prescribed zantac but that didnt work. I am also prescribed lorezapam 0.5mg but have only been taking a half a day. I know thats VERY BAD TO USE. I dont have any problem with quitting that just have to find ways to calm my anxiety. But my omperazole i am. Has anyone stopped or took omperazole pregnant?

i am about to start taking nexium again which they kept me off of during treatment . i heard nexium can make your viral load go sky high . can a drug or bad eating bring you back from non detectible to having the virus ? I have taken Nexium for many many years for many of them twice each day. I have also gained almost 40 pounds. I have talked to friends lately that have said they just started taking Nexium and in very short times have gained weight. One women gained 15 and on man gained 20 in less than two months. Weight is not the only reason I want to stop taking Nexium. I have read that it also causes bone loss, chest pain, liver problems and can effect the heat.
