Im 34 and in great shape, lift 4-5 days per week, low blood pressure 120/80 / 110/70 with a total cholesterol of 175. I've been on nexium for 2 years from messing up my stomach from vicodin and coffee. The last year I've been experiencing constant belching and bloating in my stomach after certain foods but staring to belch a lot after all meals. I'm now experiencing my heart skipping beats during my belching bouts, and when I go out and drink alcohol.
I have been experiencing acid reflux, abdominal cramping and excessive bloating for over a year now. I have tried giving up different foods, acidic foods and beverages and nothing seems to help. I have had endoscopy, colonoscopy and ultra sound as well as blood work and everything comes out normal. I have tried Nexium, Asiphex and most other acid inhibitors but none seem to really help.
When I sat down, it felt like something was being crushed or pinched in my abdomen also had pain under my solar plexus and across my abdomen just under my rib cage. I had a lot of belching and gas while on Nexium. I would get a strange sensation that I was hungry a lot in between meals, but when I snacked the sensation was still there. I would eat until I would get a full at meals (it seemed like I got full sooner) , but then I would feel very hungry soon after.
After several months this infrequent chest pain, accompanied by bloating, sore stomach and not too much reflux has become very intrusive and the pain worse, often improved by some food! Could the Nexium be too powerful after time and be a trouble maker? has anyone experience, please? I have had "Pylori" test, endoscopy etc.
Since August of 2010 I've had chest pain, difficulty breathing, incredible stomach bloating/distention (even after just drinking a glass of water), burping, reflux, and heartburn. My main concern is the bloating and difficulty breathing. I can barely function on a day to day basis. I eat little bites all day long because I can't eat a full meal or I start hyperventilating. I have had an EGD which showed a polyp (was removed) and some mild esophagitis. I don't have H.
This that it goes down my throat happened 10 years ago, when I was 30 pounds heavier. I took Prilosec and then Nexium and it solved the problem then. Now (I am normal weight now), when I remember, I take Pepcid AC and it seems to solve the problem for the next night. I am thinking of taking Prilosec or Nexium to permanently stop this from happening. What do you think?
The symptoms improved dramatically after the Nexium and I was able to switch back to OTC zantac (150 mg twice a day). I still had symptoms but they were very manageable and I was able to cut back on the zantac to 75 mg before bedtime, even while pregnant.
About 2 months after I gave birth to my son, my GI issues really started back in full force. I would be fine during the day but my nights would be miserable.
I’m a 62 year old female, I was diagnosed with h pylori a few years ago and was treated with antibiotics. I have GERD and I’ve been taking nexium 40mg twice a day for about ten years, I also smoke. The past year I’ve been EXTREMELY bloated, it looks like I’m pregnant. I frequently have diarrhea and sometimes I puke up stomach acid. And for a few months these white smelly pieces come out of my mouth.
pylori causes gastritis and gastric/duodenal ulcer and can cause, stomach burning, bloating, burping and heartburn. H. pylori doesn't affect lymph nodes.
If Pariet causes some many side effects you should consider to change it. There's a lot of acid-blocking drugs available.
You should soleve this swelling issue also.
I went to doctor and he gave me nexium and the symptoms are still there its feels like it swollen it doesn't hurt it just feel like something is there
Consultant who thought it was excessive acid and prescribed Nexium 40mg a day. These have made very little difference. I have had an endoscope down my throat which has found a lax cardia and gastritis of the lower stomach. The consultant has discharged me and I have no results back from the biopsies done. I am having problems sleeping as the back of my head aches and gives me an ongoing migraine which lasts most of the day.
About 3 months ago I started getting really upset stomach, bloating, and a little diarrhea. I went on Pepcid ac, pantoprazol, and now my doc prescribed nexium. These meds work for a few weeks then stop working. I am now wondering if my stomach issues start over every time I take another bluechew pill (which is only once every few weeks).
Has anyone else had stomach issues with viagra or generic sildenafil?
Endoscopy and Colono scopy were done and everything looked normal. Continuing Nexium treatment.Fatty liver and fatty pancreas diagnosed.
2014 March - Endoscopy, CT Scan and Ultra sound were done.Results say Gastric antrum mild chronic inflammation, fatty liver and pancreas.
Now a days the health looks like deteriorating. Started feeling pain on right and left side of stomach continuously. Sqeezing sensation in stomach. Feeling weak and fatigue.Sometimes after eating.
She was placed on a 14 day PrevPack treatment and she seems to be doing very well.. Her bloating is gone and she can fit into her jeans and clothes again.. I went back to the doctor to again try to see if i could be treated for H.Pylori, I was having that gnawing pain, burping, nausea, and heartburn again so immediately i believed these were signs of another ulcer, but she only put me on prilosec and on fiber.. Im really concerned about this gnawing pain that begins when I start eating..
I have always had digestive problems. I had a Fundoplacation surgery 15 years ago, and have not felt quite right.I was told the wrap had slipped? a bit but not to worry. I get bloating, pain, nausea, and over the last 5-6 years I have been diagnosed with AFIB. I believe my operation has some connection with the incidence of my A Fib as I get it quite often after I eat or/and drink. I can have a meal and then go straight into arrhythmia.
Hi I had a colonscopy 10/09/09, and I'm still having side effects. At first I couldn't stop going liquid then it cleared up for a couple of days now it's back.They found 4 polyps again beign but the kind that can turn into cancer so I have to have another next year. But I'm having to use tucks and I'm bleeding off and on from the rectum. I still have bloating feel kind of tired.
Over the years I have been diagnosed with IBS and hiatus hernia too and from time to time get bad stomach bloating, discomfort which is always accompanied by headaches and a general weird feeling. The past couple of months I have had a lot of stress and just don't feel right, have had episodes of bad palpitations, along with the stomach problems. I have had blood tests, ECG, CT scan, abdominal scans and nothing came back abnormal.
i had hiatal hernia surgery 10 years ago, it worked great , and 1 year ago my symptoms returned hard, look for alkaline diets on google,give it a try for a week eating 70% alkaline foods and 30% acid, i was suffering for extreme acid reflux, i changed my diet and stop using 40 gram nexium , i am out of nexium now and feel better than ever, no bloating, no reflux and my throat feels like singing!!! i hope it works for you!

He has taken several different medicaition such as prilosic, nexium, protonix, various antibotics but nothing seems to work. The feeling of bloating starts late in the afternoon. He has been eating yogurts (activia) and nothing real heavy. Does anyone have any further suggestions? He has had several scans done as well. Let me know PLEASE..
Basically, approximately twice a month, I will suffer from a bout that last between 1 and 3 days that generally consists of EXTREME bloating, EXTREME flatulence, cramping, and, sometimes, irregular bowel movements. Sometimes it comes in conjunction with constipation…sometimes it comes with significant diarrhea.
I have had an endoscopy and a colonoscopy, and was diagnosed with gastritis. I am on Nexium and Carafate. Nothing seems to help with the gastritis. I have suffered for so long that I am willing to try anything at this point that will help. I have heard that Mastic Gum works for this condition. Is it safe to take? I am a diabetic.
