My father has pain in his neck at the right side below the sub mammary gland. 25 years ago,He had his tonsils removed too. This pain is happening quite often. Anti-biotiocs do not have any effect. All the required tests have been done, at the end he had a PET scan of his whole body. Everything is normal but he still has horrible pain. The reason for this is unknown. HE ALSO HAS CERVICAL SPONDOLISIS. I would really like to know what kind of disease he's facing.

After 3 days the severe pain subsided however there is still pain where I turn my head to the right, the pain feels like it goes from the top of my neck near the base of my skull and runs dowm to my neck to my upper back
I've been to my gp who advised I need physio for a facet joint and am waiting for an appointment
Does anyone know what I can do to help and is this normal to have pain like this for 3 months
this was about 7 weeks ago now, the headaches were like electric shock pains shooting near the wound at first, now, i have aches in my neck (Doctor said it was whiplash from the fall) now the pains are in the neck, but severe in the rightn side of my head, the pain increases when i shout which i think is because i am moving my neck, or if i try to shout at teh kids, the pain is unbearable, i am walking around holding my head all the time for the pain.
for the past couple of years, i have been having this sharp pain on the right side of my head just above my ear. It would hurt most if i touch the spot or comb my hair. Most recently though it has started hurting me often, if i move too sudden i would feel it or maybe by how i lie down. I went to a doctor and he said it could be how i sleep which i thought was ridiculus. what i want to know is what causes this pain?
Starting at the top, I wake up with dull headaches, that last all day, I have intense pain at the base of my skull, right Eustachian tube issues (they vibrate when I sleep, causing me to wake up and turn over to my right side), right shoulder pain, right neck pain, right hip pain, and intense right plantar pain (fasciitis?). The latter was very intense the other night, in my sleep, that it caused me a general lack of sleep.
I have a headache on the right side of my head that has lasted for the past two days. I took some tylenol and it went away when I was sleep and for a little while when I woke up but now it is back. It feels like I pulled something in my head and extends down into my neck slightly. The day before I first got the headache I was doing some dancing that may have something to do with it but I am not sure. It hurts really bad and it is hard for me to get comfortable.
About a week or so ago, while at work, I was just going about my business as usual, when all of a sudden I got an extremely sharp stabbing pain on the LEFT side of my head. The pain was very severe, stopped me right in my tracks, but only lasted for maybe half a second. I got three or four more of these throughout the day. Ever since then, I've been having similar pains on the RIGHT side of my head, but only when I bend over and stand back up.
It is sore to the touch and hurts when I look up or to the right. The pain also increases when I bend over or strain in some fashion. The pain is on the right side of my neck. It doesn't feel abnormally swollen and does not hurt to swallow. My question is what could be causing this and should I be greatly concerned? Thank you.
NOW, on and off on the right side of my neck it feels as if the muscle is tightening and on occasion my right arm starts tingling.
Back in February I was told I had emphysema and not until the following June I was told it wasn't emphysema, it was asthma. Big difference in the outlook on life. I'm now on anxiety med. (buspar) because of being depressed for 4 months thinking I couldn't be cured, having 2 young children I was devastated. I'm also on Singular for my asthma.

I have suffered with intermittent sharp stabbing pain in the right side of my neck for about four years. I have had for the past 4 years ongoing muscle pains on only the right side of my body. The right side of my neck gets tense, my head hurts on the right, my right arm, my right upper back, lower back, my right buttocks, my right leg and all the way to my right Achilles tendon. Even my chest starts to feel tense on the right side. I can only describe it as a sore muscle, like after a good workout. But it's always there.
She has been suffering from severe headache on her right side of the head in the front portion and also right neck pain. Consulted Optholmologist and confirmed no complaints. Later consulted Neurologist , had CT SCAN and the reusult was no complaints. Still undergoing medication from the Neurlogist. If she takes the pills regularly there is no pain but when she stops taking pills she is getting the pain again. Currently, the pills are not helping in reducing the pain.
It is always on the right side of face/head. It starts on the top of the right side of my head, goes down to my ear, jaw and neck then spreads across my forehead. They are pretty constant but sometimes make me nauseous and have be so bad to actually make me sick as well as SUPER sensitive to everyday smells!
