I have been experiencing pain and swelling in my right side for several years and have been unable to lay on that side . Sometimes the pain is more intense than others and when i mistakenly lie on that side the next day my side , back are in great amount of pain and swellingand. I will feel light headed . I also experience a great amount of swelling in my left leg and neck pain on my left side I do not know if any of these syymptoms are related but I need advice.
Starting at the top, I wake up with dull headaches, that last all day, I have intense pain at the base of my skull, right Eustachian tube issues (they vibrate when I sleep, causing me to wake up and turn over to my right side), right shoulder pain, right neck pain, right hip pain, and intense right plantar pain (fasciitis?). The latter was very intense the other night, in my sleep, that it caused me a general lack of sleep.
It also looked slightly swollen
After 3 days the severe pain subsided however there is still pain where I turn my head to the right, the pain feels like it goes from the top of my neck near the base of my skull and runs dowm to my neck to my upper back
I've been to my gp who advised I need physio for a facet joint and am waiting for an appointment
Does anyone know what I can do to help and is this normal to have pain like this for 3 months
A little over a week ago I woke up with what felt like a pulled muscle in my neck, which causes stiff neck and pain in my neck and shoulder on the right side. Two days later, it had radiated up to my jaw and ear (still right side only) and sometimes would cause me to feel pain behind my right eye-sort of like a migraine. A day after that I had pain at the base of my skull on the right side alone with an almost burning sensation in my neck and shoulder.
It is always on the right side of face/head. It starts on the top of the right side of my head, goes down to my ear, jaw and neck then spreads across my forehead. Its almost like my skull hurts if that makes any sense???? They are pretty constant but sometimes make me nauseous and have be so bad to actually make me sick as well as SUPER sensitive to everyday smells!

Does this explain my lower back and lower abdomen pain on my right side? every time i go the bathroom i feel the pressure on both lower back and abdomen..why would hemorrhoids cause this pain..should i be worried something else wrong?....Too add to this i dont know if its the stress about this situation but i am as well having headaches on the right side of my brain leading down to neck and upper back..
Today I've had a sharp stabbing pain on the right side of my head. It usually lasts less than 30 seconds, but it stops whatever I'm doing since I immediately rub my head where the pain is. I sometimes get this headache 4-5 times per day. I don't normally feel them when I sleep. I don't get fuzzy vision, I don't feel dizzy. I've had this type headache in the past. Is it stress related? My father has pain in his neck at the right side below the sub mammary gland. 25 years ago,He had his tonsils removed too. This pain is happening quite often. Anti-biotiocs do not have any effect. All the required tests have been done, at the end he had a PET scan of his whole body. Everything is normal but he still has horrible pain. The reason for this is unknown. HE ALSO HAS CERVICAL SPONDOLISIS. I would really like to know what kind of disease he's facing.
I have pain in my right side of my body and its from 2-3 years. It starts from right side of my neck and ends at toe. i also have pain in right hand . in starting it was in last three fingers now its in thumb. i feel pain starting from neck and to right arm, back, leg. sometime i feel numbness in right side of my head. this pain is deadly. and there is something like swelling at various part of body like neck,shoulder , back, leg, foot also.
( involving my sinuses, especially on the right side of my head. Anyway, all day today my neck has been hurting! On the right side, it feels sort of lumpy inside. Like not to touch it, just the way it feels inside my neck. It's sort of like a sore throat on the outside of my throat! It's uncomfortable to turn my head, and if I sit up too long it starts to hurt too. I've got ice on it, which seems to make it a little better, and am resting my head on a pillow.
