nasonex

29837 tn?1414534648 My allergist gave me a sample of Nasonex, which I used for about a week. Unfortunately, it did not help my symptoms and I had frequent nosebleeds. Maybe try the spray for another couple of days?
Avatar n tn I noticed that at first my ringing was real low but then all of the sudden as soon I took the nasonex my ear ringing got a lot louder out nowhere and it also kind of started in the other a little bit then that went away. But my right ear kept buzzing loud for a couple of hours but then later that night around 1am in the morning I noticed that I didn't hear any ringing at all.
531684 tn?1216745984 I am one of those 'supposedly' rare cases. I used nasonex in the past years off and on. Doctors kept saying it was a rare side effect to have nose bleeds, yet I can't even get to the end of the complaints on the internet about nose bleeds from nasonex!
Avatar n tn they found nothing but a little allergy reaction to something. the ear nose throat doctor was the one who put him on the nasonex, every thing else checked out with him too.i didnt think it was meningitis becouse my family doctor checked his glands and neck stiffness.i do know that he did have the fungas on his scalp but i wasnt sure about all the other problems if they could be related to that also.
Avatar n tn Just hoping the Nasonex helps with the pounding heartbeat in my ear and helps resolve some of the other issues too. Again, thanks for your input. I feel better about taking the Nasonex. Yarrow, I did read the link about Nasalcrom. I think I used that once, years ago. I need a steroid spray now, though, to take down the inflammation and swelling. But I'll keep Nasalcrom in mind too. MIght come in handy for the irritated, itchy teary eyes I often get in the spring.
Avatar f tn Ocassionally my left eye swells and is painful. On thoses days I want to patch my eye to keep the light out. Is there anything else I can do to help with the dryness. She suggested Nasonex, which opens my sinus up and I feel like I'm drowing which they do without the medicine. Please advise. Thank you.
Avatar f tn My prescription did go up (quite a bit from only last year of getting my eyes checked) and one eye is now slightly worse than the other (both eyes use to be the same). My eye pressure is normal (10 in one eye, 12 in the other). I done a visual field test which came back okay except for one spot, however the doctor said it was just a mole within my eye and nothing to worry about (probably could have had that my whole life), and she dilated my eyes. Everything came back good.
1240706 tn?1331602111 I have had bad allergy symptoms for around 15 years. I have a runny nose all the time, but the worst is the chronic eye irritation. They burn constantly. It makes me feel exhausted and really inhibits my ability to function at full capacity every day. I feel like my doctor just isn't taking me very seriously. I am 37 and have three young kids and would like to feel better. Does anyone relate to this issue?
538745 tn?1213755988 Nope no congested nose or sinus problems at all.. I had this problem for about 4 weeks now ..and the GP I'm seeing here put me on Nasonex he said could be in my sinus since he look into my ears and they were clean. I'm 53 years old .no ringing . but hear people talk again like a echo..plus the sound of putting a sea shell up to my hear..I learn to put the tv on really loud .than doesn't bug me as much..
Avatar f tn I was on nasonex spray prn or I take 1 puff each nose at times for few years= 4 years. Now I noticed hair thinning and loss. I have stopped the nasonex now. Will my hair grow back as usual? I am so worried. Iam not taking any other medication. But on hair supplements- zinc, vitamin E and multivitamin. Started my hair massage!
538745 tn?1213755988 the higher the pitch the louder it is in my left ear..I went to doc here and was told my ear was clean not red no wax etc..so he said doesn't know what it is for now..having me take nasonex a day for two week..no cold here not even a sinus headache..
Avatar f tn think I must be going crazy. After having throat/ear issues for over a month, I went to the doctor 10 days ago. He said I had a ton of fluid behind my ears and there was inflammation. He also said that my right ear drum looked really dull. He thinks my issues are being caused by a sinus infection. I've been taking Nasonex and antibiotics for 11 days and am still having problems. Here is where I think it gets weird. My ear bothers me when I go outside even for just a few minutes.
Avatar n tn Hello, I have been taking Nasonex for 5 months now and starting 10 days ago, I started experiencing weird sensation in the left area of my chest, it would only happen 3 to 6 times a day and it would feel like someone just tapped the someone of my chest with a finger or two, after 3 or 4 days experiencing this, I just completly stopped using Nasonex and have been off Nasonex for 5 days and 11 hours now.
Avatar n tn I wake up and my eyes seem closer to my nose and there is fluid build up in the ethmoid sinus area. The problem gets worse when i lift weights and when i barely sleep. I tried reducing sodium intake and this did not work. Diuretics did not work. Only two things over the past year and a half have somewhat worked. I tried using Nasonex and it worked great for about 4 days. The fluid seemed to drain out and my nasal bridge narrowed.
Avatar f tn I can however use just a steroid inhaler along with the Nasonex nose spray, it seemed to work very well for me. Should I try staying with this or try Singular. I thought I read up on Singular as causing liver issues. What do you think would be the safest way to go? Or the best? I love breathing better !!
Avatar n tn Hi all! I'm an otherwise healthy male in my late 30's. Recently got sick about 4 days ago: stuffy nose, followed by a sore throat (when swallowing). No temperature, headache or cough. The only thing I used before seeing doc was Afrin, Advil and some Zicam. Went to the doc, and she said it was a virus. She prescribed Nasonex, Astepro, and the usual "stay away from afrin" advice.
Avatar f tn only thing that gets me through the night...and it last till late in the afternnon or early evenin the next day...then the stuffyness starts...especialy if i am setting or lying down..PLEASE UNDERSTAND-- THE SITTING OR LYING DOWN STUFFYNESS STARTED LONG BEFORE I STARTED USING AFRIN,AFRIN..THIS HAS BEEN A LAST RESORT AFTER GOING THROUGH ALL OF THE DOCTORS AND,SINUS SERGERY AND PRESCRIPTION DRUGS TO TRY AND HELP REMODAY THE PROBLEM..... ..the nasonex says it takes up to two weeks to work..
Avatar n tn Started on Rhinochort in October-went to Nasonex, it worked better. Tried to discontinue medications in Feb and he had immediate symptoms again - returned to it. For the most part, both medications have resolved his symptoms. I did notice over the last year he has been moodier/yells at us/crys over little things - but attributed to his age. Live in notice over the last year he has been moodier/yells at us/crys over little things - but attributed to his age.
Avatar n tn No nasonex will not do this Optivar is an allergy drop. If you were allergic to dust, pollen etc it should be both eyes. If just one eye it usually indicates you have gotten something on the lid that caused the problem.
Avatar f tn Nothing ever comes out of my ear but when I lift my ear off the pillow there is a suctioning sound, and when I wiggle my finger in there I hear stuff. I also get a flutter felling in my ear sometimes. Whew...........My main concern is the phlegm/mucous in my throat. I take nasonex and prilosec (for suspected GERD) but nothing seems to help. ANy suggestions on what this could be or what I can do?
Avatar f tn I've had a cold brought on from allergies for over a week. It caused fluid to build up in my left ear and is making it very hard to hear. I've been given lots of sample allergy pills and told to get Mucinex to help remove the fluid but neither has worked. Then I was given a prescription for an antibiotic which has not worked. I've tried all the home remedies to remove the fluid....ear drops, hair dryer blown at ear, heat pack on ear, popping my ears (which I tried and failed to do).
1393709 tn?1280178870 In the meantime, sudofed works the best without making you groggy, in case you wish to operate heavy machinery. Next best is nasonex, which works differently. One cheap solution that works for about half the people that try it is nettle leaf capsules, available at health food stores and Whole foods. The theory, unproven, is that the magnesium content reduces allergic reaction.
Avatar n tn I notice it more on solid walls, the sky, blank colors. At night it gets very noticeable in the dark to the point and I even see them with my eyes are shut. When I look at it closely, they seem to be small see-through specs that shimmer with random ones flashing here and there.
Avatar m tn If it does not happen immediately then, then the first time I bend over in the day it pours. Then usually not again in the day unless I nap. It taste mostly like tears. I can't tell if it is a metallic taste. I tried doing the hankie test, I don't think it stiffens much when it dries. My hubby says it Is stiff .I have occasional headaches, tinnitus, and my ears pop. When I brought up a csf leak the doctor brushed it off. He says the headaches are migraines, says it is sinuses.
