t have this pain while moving just when i tried to breathe. checked myself into the hospital they did a x ray and also a blood test. and gave me morphine for the pain two shot 98mg by 2 for the 6 hrs i stayed sitting on a chair,then said it was a muscle pain and gave me antibiotics incase of a infection and discharged me. i still get some chest pains if i load pictures of my scan up can anyone look at it and give me a second opinion please.

During the last episode he had chest pains that were severe enough that they put him on morphine. All tests have been normal and he has been sent home. He is a paraplegic. Is there another way to diagnosis blood clots?

Well, first of all i know what i would tell your husband. Who cares what he wants or doesn't like. Look at the mess you are in. Sounds like you need to go and speak with a doctor and explain that you want to get off the morphine. Don't forget to tell him about this husband also who is obviously causing you alot of anxiety.

My husband is addicted to Morphine. I have never done any type of drug and I really don't know what to do to help. Second - is this a short acting (SA) or is it a long acting (LA) Morphine? 60mgs of Morphine is one heck of a one time dose. I would not take it. There could be serious complications, especially if you your system is opiate naive. Don't take it.
