I took that medication too but my doctor told me I had to wait up to 2 weeks for the medication to start working properly. I had to stop it by the 5th day because the side effects were awful and that pill almost killed me. As far as I know this medication (Mobic) is prescribed for arthritis. For pain I took a muscle relaxer Flexeril and it worked since the first day I took it. In 2 days I was pain free in my neck, arms and shoulders after having non stop pain and numbness for months.

t tolerate, now I am having withdrawal symptoms that made me try to quit the medication, the new Dr. gave me Mobic which is an anti inflamatory drug. She said would help control the pain from the withdrawal but is doing nothing except causing more withdrawal symtoms, but that was not on the listed side affects, so now I don't want to take those either.

Hi there.....May I ask if they are being prescribed by the same Dr.? Even if so, it's always the Pharmacist who runs the check for interactions between medications so speak with them in addition to asking your Dr. if he wants you to be taking these two together or space them apart by x amount of hours. Many Drs. are not aware of specific interactions of all medications so this is why it's also important to only use one Pharmacy.

I can understand building up a tolerance to the medication but not having all of these symptoms and side effects with whatever medication I take. I didn't think taking docusate would give me more constipation or pain in my joints. The doctors I have been seeing don't have a clue as to what is happening with my body or the meds, I need to know what kind of Doctor I need to be referred to to fix this problem, I am now itching from taking Docusate and Mobic.

I am not sure! I have taken this for a few years now and I wanted to stop. My asthma was worsening and had developed problems swallowing at times. When I stopped the Mobic, I had the most excruciating headaches for almost 1 week now. I am hopeful that this will cease soon, for extra strength Tylenol will not touch the pain in my head.

Hi... I was diagnosed with ostearthritis & fibromyalgia a few years ago...and have been taking mobic since then, which has worked. About a month ago, the mobic didn't seem to be working as well.. my hands were hurting a lot at work... so I went back to my dr & he changed my medicine to relafen for the osteoarthritis & lyrica for the fibromyalgia. Although the lyrica seems to work, I'm not liking the side effects, puffy hands & feet & eye twitching...

Since your panic attacks are happening less, are the headaches numerous and a reason that you cannot take the medication anymore? Or are some of the side effects okay with you now that your anxiety is much better? What does your prescribing doctor say about this? Headaches can also be caused by an endless number of factors in my opinon. Are you getting enough sleep? Are you still under a lot of stress? The point is, that the headaches may not even be related to the medication itself.

this does not sound like a normal reaction, and why, for heavens sake, if she is having these side effects, should she stay on it.

She went to a doctor yesterday about her hair and the doctor told her that it was because of this medication (Lydrica) But I have seen all side effects and none talk about hair lost. And my mother does not want to leave this medication because its the only one that works for her burning feet. Has anybody else expirence hair loss with Lydrica?She also takes Cymbalta 60mg,lyrica 75mg, Nexuim 40mg, and Tramabol 50mg. What do you all suggest she get tested for ?

Hi Jennifer, How are you? Medication side effects may or may not occur to patients. You were given pain medication, anti-inflammatory, antihistamine and antipsychotic/tranqulizer. You may experience gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea, vomiting and sedative effects. However, it is important that any sign of allergic reaction such as difficulty of breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. twitching or tremor will warrant immediate attention. Has anyone had any side effects from Depakote ER? My 24 year old son was just diagnosed with Seizures, after experiencing several episodes of lost of consciousness. Can anyone out there tell me if they have had constant nausea, fatigue and some heartburn from the medication?

Did you taper off the vibryd or quit abruptly? You can't just switch from one medication to another even in the same class and avoid withdrawal -- these meds are not easy to stop taking and it must be done carefully. Unless you completely stop taking a medication before starting another it's impossible to tell if your symptoms are a sign you're suffering withdrawal and quit too quickly or are side effects of the new medication.

I doubt this combination would be approved if it was dangerous. But all drugs may have side effects, and if you get bothersome side effects, you should report them to your doctor. Good luck.
