1550149 tn?1340000730 I took Tramadol for a short term but it was simply not effective for me. Among the side effects are dry mouth, this would seem to indicate that your mucosa can be dry which may account for your dry eyes. I cannot find reports of ENT side effects such as your under water feeling. However there is reported light-headedness that may indicate some similarity. Also when I searched I found other ppl that reported similar symptoms to yours, such as a "swooshing" of the head when turning.
Avatar m tn Does anyone know if dry mouth is a side effect of melatonin supplements. If so how long would this side effect last after discontinuation?
Avatar f tn Reading these posts, I agree that the dry mouth is a real big one, I HAD to have a bottle of water at all times! Brain fog... yes. Dry skin... yes, I was so lucky to have a loving husband who applied lotion along with a head to toe body massage almost every night after things started getting to the point where I was too sick to do much of anything. He was the reason I di get through the treatments!
Avatar m tn Rinse mouth with Biotene dry mouth rinse. It works quite well.

899491 tn?1243773627 I know Abilify like all antipsychotics can cause anti-cholinergic side effects (although less so then other antipsychotics) which include dry mouth and urinary retention. Sometimes some of the side effect pills used to treat the motor restlessness from it such as the anti-cholinergics (Cogentin, Artane, etc.) can make that worse. That might be one cause but generally its not so severe. Your psychiatrist should be able to explain what happened though.
Avatar m tn Common Adderall side effect indeed include constipation, diarrhea, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, nervousness, restlessness, stomach pain or upset, trouble sleeping, weight loss, weakness and the unpleasant taste you mentioned. You could discuss this with your attending physician for possible dose adjustment or shift to other medication. Take care and best regards.

Avatar m tn I did get that and I do not know if this was just the trial however I had an EKG done as well, several in fact during the course of the trial. Also, as OH said, for dry mouth Biotene has some very good products as a dry mouth is more prone to cavities, etc.
1922425 tn?1322702653 I would say his side effects since finishing incivek include itching (no rash), fatigue, some weakness/shortness of breath, fatigue, dry mouth/metallic taste in mouth, and insomnia. I think that the symptoms he is experiencing right now (post incivek) are very similar/identical to the side effects he had with previous two treatments. For the itching, he takes Atavan. For the insomnia, he takes Ambien. For dry mouth, he uses Biotene products.
Avatar n tn The side effects I have are anxiety, dizzyand , dry mouth My doctor told me to take xanax with it until the side effects go away. Any idea when that will be??? I keep trying to take wellbutrin alone to see if the side effects are going away, but I usually end up taking the xanax a few hours in because I just can't handle al the jittering and other side effects I am getting. Should I hang in there a little longer of stop taking it?
Avatar n tn I am also experiencing sores and problems in my mouth. The doctor says that this is also a side effect to the medicine. I will do what I have to do to make it through the end, but I just would like to know if there are others in my area that may go to HepC meetings, if they even exist. My family, friends, and boyfriend are 100% with me but unfortunately it is so hard for me to explain to them what I am going through, physically and emotionally.
Avatar f tn Is having side effects a good sign the meds trying to work on day 3 and managing to put up with them for now slight head ache but more the dry mouth and horrible taste just wanting people's opinions on this and is it good that I'm experiencing day 3 of switching straight over from another that caused side effects for the 5 weeks I was on them and couldn't take it anymore Thanks
Avatar f tn I also developed pretty pronounced dry mouth, and was also having a problem with slurring my words more. I initially was scared that it was an exacerbation but then realized the sx came on the morning after starting the drug. I gave it 5 days to see if any of this improved. None of it did, and the dry mouth got steadily worse. So, I stopped it, and by the second day, the leg weakness/pain, dry mouth, slurred speech, were all pretty much gone.
Avatar m tn The day after I was in pain and had a bad sore throat, still dry coughing. Is this a side effect of the Zantac? Or is this a sign my throat is healing from never having taken this kind of medicine before?
Avatar n tn Please tell me the side effects and potential problems when taking all of the following medications by prescription: Cymbalta (60 MG), Hydrocodone-Acetaminophen (5-500 MG), Ibuprofen (800 MG), Mobic (15 MG), Oxycodone-Acetaminophen (5-500 MG), Plaquenil (200 MG), Xanax (0.5 MG).
Avatar f tn My Doctor just switch my medication from 150 mg of Effexor XR to 400 mg of Seroquel XR. I dropped my dosage of Effexor gradually but I still experienced terrible withdrawl. Now I am experiencing bad side effects, " I'm guessing ths", from the Seroquel. I have gained weight in my stomach area very rapidly, I have pain and stiffness in my legs, 24 hour dry mouth and sinuses and I feel like I could cry at the drop of a hat.
Avatar m tn Hi there.....May I ask if they are being prescribed by the same Dr.? Even if so, it's always the Pharmacist who runs the check for interactions between medications so speak with them in addition to asking your Dr. if he wants you to be taking these two together or space them apart by x amount of hours. Many Drs. are not aware of specific interactions of all medications so this is why it's also important to only use one Pharmacy.
Avatar f tn As soon as i took one i started feeling very strange. I am having very bad nausea, dry mouth, wired taste, headaches and dizziness. Can anyone tell me are these normal symptoms when taking topamax and how long are they going to last? I am only taking 25mg a day right now.
Avatar n tn I am not sure! I have taken this for a few years now and I wanted to stop. My asthma was worsening and had developed problems swallowing at times. When I stopped the Mobic, I had the most excruciating headaches for almost 1 week now. I am hopeful that this will cease soon, for extra strength Tylenol will not touch the pain in my head.
Avatar f tn There are many different options to combat dry mouth related to Zoloft. It SHOULD be a temporary side effect, but as Swahboo stated, it could persist. If it continues to bother you, speak with your doctor to discuss your options.
Avatar f tn Hi... I was diagnosed with ostearthritis & fibromyalgia a few years ago...and have been taking mobic since then, which has worked. About a month ago, the mobic didn't seem to be working as well.. my hands were hurting a lot at work... so I went back to my dr & he changed my medicine to relafen for the osteoarthritis & lyrica for the fibromyalgia. Although the lyrica seems to work, I'm not liking the side effects, puffy hands & feet & eye twitching...
