I have never been prescribed either, but after reading this forum, I opted NOT to get the tramadol filled. I did get the mobic filled because I only take it once daily so I figured it would be okay. Any advice on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Mobic is an NSAID pain reliever (same class of drugs as ibuprofen, motrin, aleve) and not a narcotic so the addiction potential is very very low. You should be fine as long as you have no stomach issues as NSAIDS tend to aggravate those symptoms or if taken in excess, create stomach problems. Good luck to you! I think the Mobic is a much better alternative to pain management than any narcotic.

Hi there!!! I can't seem to find any info on how long it takes for Relafen to start working. I hope the Dr explained all the side effects of this med. There seems to be a lot of them. Because it is reducing hormones, I would have to say it could take a few weeks for it to start working but I would ask a pharmacist to make sure. Relafen is in a group of drugs called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

I feel like i need to find the cause of my pain not treat the symptoms... Please Help!! Any ideas what could be wrong? How to help?

I am taking mobic for chronic back pain, however i was recently prescribed vicodin to take in unison with the mobic. I need to know how dangerous if at all the combination of the two can be, and if i need to be aware of additional side effects?

They do help, but are expensive. There was another patch with an anti-inflammatory in it, but I am taking mobic orally, which helps me more.

I Just ordered off this site called withdrawal-ease.com and it's $89 for 2 bottles one for night time and one for day. Th Thomas recipe isn't helping me. I was going to order te amino acid protocol but I got everything into my cart on GNC.com and it was $150!! And it was missing 2 items they didn't carry it. So it will be here in 2-3 days. I have been getting these pulsing or throbbing feeling mostly every where on my body for about 1 month now. I have not been checked for it yet but, it somewhat worries me. I get pain in my joint at times and had a sedrate drawn on me. my sedrate came back only a little elevated. My provider told me I have a little of Osteo arthritis and has prescribed me Mobic for the pain.

Is it bad to stop taking Zoloft cold turkey? It really works for my anxiety, but I've been taking other meds and I'm afraid of interactions. I take Tylenol, Ibuprofen, and Mobic.

I will have to go back and see if I can find that one. It was really interesting. Seems to be all upside down in the way it works as to the way you would think it did. I alwasys thought when stocks were way up, it was a good thing. I will have to see if I can find it or the link to it so ya all can have a look see.

My non narco drug that I found to work really good for my back pain is called meloxicam I think that's how u spell it it's just the generic of mobic andbis just an NSAID like motrin or naproxen just a good bit stringer is what my doc told me and it works wonders for me so that's another one to try

Wow..you wouldn't think this type of med could cause all that, I thought it was similar to an NSAID. It's been about 4days now I've been on it & haven't noticed anything either way. Does this make you sleepy & how often did you take it?

Thanks act I was to lazy to get up and look at the name. Arnica gel is good. Capzasin cream good also. But racky I forgot about how easy the mobic was on my stomach. And act is so rite on about naproxen. I took it 23 yrs ago. Horrible on the tummy. And also joint pain comes with hep c. Not everyone gets it. But thats how I was diagnosed, my rheumatologist.

Starting this new anti-inflammation med and I read it could cause weight gain and swelling.....anyone have this as a symptom? How well does it work? Have a lot of pain from herniated discs in my neck and back.

i am so tired.
