I have this obsessive compulsion of folding paper. Can anyone tell me what this is or what it means?
My doctor wrote me a script for Mobic to help with some nerve pain. Im wondering if anyone knows if its similar to tramadol at all, Im hoping not, but anyone who has any helpful info please let me know. I cant start back on opiates again for the pain and Ive heard too many bad stories about tramadol to even consider it as an alternative. Also if anyone knows of anything that helps nerve pain, Im open for any suggestions. Hope everyone is well, thanks.
Does anyone know if mobic is addictive? My doctor switched me to them today from loratab. I am glad because the loratab really is addictive and I would rather not have my body relying on anything. I have been on the loratab for a little over a year now and I feel like crap if I miss a day and go without it. Not only am I in pain (because of female problems and my back) but I feel like I have the flu. How long will I feel that way without it? since I switch my meds today.
My provider told me I have a little of Osteo arthritis and has prescribed me Mobic for the pain. Now, since like a month ago, I have been feeling like big pulses on my legs, buttock, arms, neck, face, back and stomack at times. It does not last too long but, i do have then through out the whole day. It is somewhat worrying me. Does anyone know why this is happening or what lab test can I get done?
liver profile normal and am waiting for PCR next week. Everything was going well. I was riding my bike an hour a day, eating nutritiously, and then started having lower back pain, neck pain and shoulder pain.
I just got the bad news from my GP yesterday that I have ankylosing spondylitis. He took xray, and I saw the bone growth at L5 going towards L4; not fused at this point. My doc tells me there is not much to be done; I should keep exercising; that I should take Mobic.
Today a Doctor gave me a script for Mobic,for wrist pain that I have had for the past month from repative work,my Urate levels are at 52 just over limit.Im on Asprin and fluid tablets which can raise these levels.
A specialist doctor I saw says it is gout I don't believe it is...I'm unsure about taking the Mobic though for my wrist ??
Yes you can take Mobic with a narcotic pain med. Mobic is a NSAID, and has the same risks as other NSAIDS.
In high doses it can cause some kidney issues, the vicodin has tylenol in it and can cause some liver issues in high doses.
But they are safe to take together. Typically what you want to watch for is multiple NSAIDS, or Multiple meds with tylenol.
Hi... I was diagnosed with ostearthritis & fibromyalgia a few years ago...and have been taking mobic since then, which has worked. About a month ago, the mobic didn't seem to be working as well.. my hands were hurting a lot at work... so I went back to my dr & he changed my medicine to relafen for the osteoarthritis & lyrica for the fibromyalgia. Although the lyrica seems to work, I'm not liking the side effects, puffy hands & feet & eye twitching...
I was just prescribed mobic and I just wondered if it's afdictive
I have had 18 pt visits (traction now up to 32 lbs.. does provide relief temporary,(24hr) also take mobic.. recently prescribed a home traction unit.. confused as if this is right treatment..
loss of vision(more often now than before the mobic), headaches, dizziness(almost none since the mobic), swooshing in my ears(about the same).... poor balance- same. I think that's it... I have a hard time remembering but I've been forgetful for years. I'm 23.
I can't stand the weight I'm at and I'm so tired of not being able to do anything. Any suggestions? Other than walking. I like a challenge. Thanks in advance.
ve really come up with is the accident factor.. Anyone know of any other reason bike riding might not be a good idea during pregnancy? I did go on a bike ride with my son and husband yesterday other than sore legs I feel fine.. Just curious...
Don't fall or crash. That's the biggest concern with bike riding.
About 6 months ago my treadmill died so I purchased a stationary bike to change things up. I feel like I need double the time on this thing to get my heartrate up. Do others feel the same way? Is walking really the best thing to flatten this stomach?
I checked with my ob on exercise when I found out I was pregnant since I'm a bit overweight to start with. Stationary bikes are ok because you most likley won't fall off. Then again I've noticed pregnancy makes me a huge clutz.
I use the treadmill because it's easier on my knees than running on pavement and a stationary bike because it's safer than riding my real bike. Plus you can read a good magazine or watch tv while on the bike. I say go for it!
Would any of you lovely people happen to know if pedaling on the stationary bike (I have an old one from the 1970's) is safe for pregnant women? I plan to ask my doctor but wanted to know your thoughts if any of you have any knowledge on it!

Hi everyone, what are your thoughts on riding a bike in the park if I'm 5 weeks preggo?
I don't know anything about this complaint except that I think that two of the medical words to decribe it are:-
- intestinal volvulus
- intussception
Maybe type those words into Google/yahoo etc and see whether this provides you with further information on which to interrogate your son's doctors.
