The doctor told me I had bacterial vaginosis and a yeast infection I think that's why she prescribed metronidazole and she also prescribed a cream (miconazole nitrate) I just wasn't sure if metronidazole was ok to take while pregnant. THANKS GIRLS!

For the past ten days I have been taking Metronidazole (Two 250mg oral tablets, twice daily).
I took my last pills lastnight around 10:30 pm.
My question is, would it be okay for me to consume alcohol on Saturday night?
I know my pharmacist told me to absolutely stay away from alcohol while I was taking the pills because I would vomit alot, and he said most people wait a couple of days after they've finished before they drink. Im just wondering if two days is enough time?
It's important to treat the bacteria, if not things can get ugly. We're more prone to infections when we're pregnant. I haven't had to use that while pregnant, but I'd assume the benefit outweighs the risk if your doctor suggested it.
I'm 25 weeks pregnant my doctor prescribed me Metronidazole Vaginal Gel for a bacteria that I have, has anyone else taken this during a pregnancy ? I'm really scared I've read about women who've lost their baby by taking this gel I'm really scared I called my OB and I asked him if its safe for the baby and he said it is but I'm really concerned about this, its my first baby too. .. My doctor prescribed me metronidazole 4 pills 500 mg each to take all at once.. So me and him ate and then took them this morning/afternoon around mabey 130 or 2 pm.. Well I have been feeling real nauseous and having diharea.. Long story short I three up what looked like everything I've ate today.. Does this mean the meds won't work or did they have enough time to disolve and work its way into my system whenre throwing up wouldn't matter?
