you tried to add to your prior post on the std experts forum. too much time had passed since your original question so it was bumped over to here. you can take the metronidazole for long periods of time but it's not likely that the bacteria it treats is causing your symptoms. it sounds like your urologist is doing a good job.

Also after i have finished the metronidazole pills does that mean the (BV) odor has gone away?
