The next day, Friday, I still had somewhat frequent urination, but not like the side effects of the Metronidazole. Hey guys, this is gonna be a long post so sorry in advance. The past 4 months I've been living a nightmare with my vagina. It started half way through January when I got what I thought to be a simple yeast infection (the clumpy discharge, itching and soreness). I know my pharmacist told me to absolutely stay away from alcohol while I was taking the pills because I would vomit alot, and he said most people wait a couple of days after they've finished before they drink. Im just wondering if two days is enough time?
Metronidazole can cause diarrhea as a side effect. But it may be also working on the infective cause of your dog's illness in the first place, so don't stop it without speaking to your vet.
Meanwhile keep your dog hydrated. If you can find an unflavoured electrolyte drink like Pedialyte that would be great. Plain water would do for a short time but Pedialyte would be better.
My heart beat is erratic most of the time anyway but when I tried taking flagyl for campylobacter, it didn't affect my heart at all. I just got extremely sick and intestinal issues worsened. They had to switch me.

I am going to ask her if we can add suppository progesterone to my cycle this month ... she is going to send me to U of M fertility clinic but I know that if I have the suppos. the pregnancy will take - i keep "feeling" pregnant for a short time and then i wake up one day and all symptoms gone and then i get my period .
I had my check up last march 20, and my ob prescribed me that flagystatin suppository, since i do not have yet my period on that time. an i used it the night aftr my check up. the following day, my husband came home. so i stop taking the suppository. i only used once. and then yesterday, march 23, i had my menstruation.
