I was given Rozex cream (metronidazole) as i have an itchy penis (head). When i asked what was the diagnosis they said a fungal infection.
Why have i been given this cream when metronidazole doesn't cure fungal infections?

Metronidazole is an antibiotic with many purposes including a non-STI vaginal discharge syndrome causes bacterial vaginosis. Miconazole is a medicine for yeast infections. Both bacterial vaginosis and yeast infections have a tendency to recur.
From what you say, I would not worry that your partner's vaginal discharge is a result of something you have given her.
I took metronidazole pills and cream and they both did not work. So I tried testing my ph and it read normal. So I figured it must be a yeast infection. I tried monistat 7 day treatment. It did not work. Still have discharge and itching. I then tested my ph again and it is still reading 4.5 normal. What could this be?
i have been given Gynazole (sp), miconazole, metronidazole, flagyl, fluconazole, and have also tried tioconazole, to no avail. So I stopped going to doctors for it. But now I want to get an IUD, and I am wondering if the IUD can be inserted during the presence of a yeast infection? I know certain infections are contraindications, but are yeast infections? I don't think they can spread to the cervix/uterus.
i have treted my self using metronidazole, canesten viginal tablet and cream. i also notice for some month that the ovulation mucus during ovulation is dirty brown.and my menstration flow is dirty brown.i menstrurate for 3days and the forth and fifth day i see dirth brown discharge.iam not feeling any pain at all in my abdomen and i don't have any itching in my vigina.

m very cautious about keeping clean) so I used miconazole OTC suppositories and it definately seemed to help. About 2 or so days after the treatment ended I started having discharge again, only this time it was more liquidy and brownish tinged (like the day or two before you start your period) so I thought it was that happening combined with the yeast infection still leaving. And still no foul odor at all, there is no odor to it what so ever(I had read it is usually accompanied by an odor?
hate my situation should i prescribe my self with anti biotics in a hit or miss kind of way, can any one suggest of taking metronidazole or clindamycin or fluconazol is a good idea at this point.

Nope. Got it checked out. The doctor said it was just an abrasion probably from basketball and workouts. The miconazole made it sting like a b****. The doctor also said I can stay off the miconazole. I don't even have to be on cipro either.

I took metronidazole gel at about 20 weeks for bv and baby is fine now at about 28 weeks
For the past ten days I have been taking Metronidazole (Two 250mg oral tablets, twice daily).
I took my last pills lastnight around 10:30 pm.
My question is, would it be okay for me to consume alcohol on Saturday night?
I know my pharmacist told me to absolutely stay away from alcohol while I was taking the pills because I would vomit alot, and he said most people wait a couple of days after they've finished before they drink. Im just wondering if two days is enough time?
Metronidazole can cause diarrhea as a side effect. But it may be also working on the infective cause of your dog's illness in the first place, so don't stop it without speaking to your vet.
Meanwhile keep your dog hydrated. If you can find an unflavoured electrolyte drink like Pedialyte that would be great. Plain water would do for a short time but Pedialyte would be better.
My heart beat is erratic most of the time anyway but when I tried taking flagyl for campylobacter, it didn't affect my heart at all. I just got extremely sick and intestinal issues worsened. They had to switch me.
