at first i didnt bother it but after my medication in soar throat and allergy(urcatitaria), my vagina started to became itchy and again, everyday i started having green discharged for `1 week. i went to a gynecologist and she prescribed me a metronidazole miconazole vaginal suppository and ive used that for `1 week.. now what my problem is, my white discharge had stop.. i am also currently taking up medice for my UTI and had experiexed sex but that was like long time ago...
I was diagnosed with BV. After a course of metronidazole, the symptoms persisted. I returned it to the doctor Who then screened again for chlamydia gonorrhea and trichomoniasis.
The results returned positive for trich.
My husband claims that he has been faithful since September of 2016. It is difficult to find factual information on symptoms, test results, and incubation periods.
I would like to know the following information:

Since about the end of August/September 2008 I began having issues with reoccuring BV after treating a yeast infection in late July. Since then, I have had several reoccuring infections. I became sexually active in November [i was not sexually active prior] and that seemed to trigger another infection. Around thanksgiving my gyn prescribed Clindesse vaginal cream and the infection seemed to subside for about a week and then it returned.
4 days post admission it was found I had c diff and eventually discharged home on metronidazole. After 4 more hosp admissions and an anterior resection and a defunctioning ileostomy for six months I question whether or not the gentamycin and cefuroxime caused more damage than good and why I wasnt given vancomyin as soon as it was know I was c diff pos as I had been metronidazole for several weeks by that time.
I took metronidazole gel at about 20 weeks for bv and baby is fine now at about 28 weeks
For the past ten days I have been taking Metronidazole (Two 250mg oral tablets, twice daily).
I took my last pills lastnight around 10:30 pm.
My question is, would it be okay for me to consume alcohol on Saturday night?
I know my pharmacist told me to absolutely stay away from alcohol while I was taking the pills because I would vomit alot, and he said most people wait a couple of days after they've finished before they drink. Im just wondering if two days is enough time?
Metronidazole can cause diarrhea as a side effect. But it may be also working on the infective cause of your dog's illness in the first place, so don't stop it without speaking to your vet.
Meanwhile keep your dog hydrated. If you can find an unflavoured electrolyte drink like Pedialyte that would be great. Plain water would do for a short time but Pedialyte would be better.
My heart beat is erratic most of the time anyway but when I tried taking flagyl for campylobacter, it didn't affect my heart at all. I just got extremely sick and intestinal issues worsened. They had to switch me.
I dont think there is a way off telling how long you have had trich for. It is a parasite that is usually passed on by having penetrative sex with someone who has it.
You can catch it without knowing for several weeks. It ususally affects women more than men as I have heard. I have once had vaginal trich a few years ago, and it was about a month before I got any symtoms, which was itching/soreness and discharge that was pale green/yellow.
I first experienced this problem 8 years ago.
Then, I experienced this problem again, around 2 years ago.
Then, 6 months ago.
Then, 3 months ago.
Then 1 month ago.

I am have been having unprotected sex with my girlfriend from past 4 years but she is fairly reliable. We have not had any partners before.
My GP today has advised me to go and see STD clinic but I am not convinced as the first time I had noticed this problem was 8 years ago and I was virgin then.
I have a life long history of arrhythmias but have never experienced any change in mine while taking anti-b's. And I've taken a variety of them over my many years. I can see where one or two might give you fits (I happen to hate metronidazole that they gave me for diverticulitis). Talk to you doctor, let her/him know how these make you feel. There are others on the market but remember, certain anti-B's are good for certain types of bacteria.
I've been feeling/having penile dishcarge for almost 3 months after sex with woman I didn't know well. I have a history of prostititis which has flared up after sex before. tested negative for chlamydia and gonnerhea. Haven't tested for herpes but don't have any signs of that. Urologist thinks it's prostitis and I've been on 3 different medications last few months (Cipro, Doxy, bactrim) with no success.
When I went in on Thursday he said he thinks I have Bacterial Vaginosis and prescribed me Metronidazole Vaginal Gel - one dose before bed for 5 nights and he also mentioned I have a mucus plug. Last night was my third night on the treatment and since leaving the doctor's office I have had some bleeding and since starting this treatment I have noticed that large amount of brown discharge. The discharge looks like little blood clots leaving my body and they have not stopped.
Also after i have finished the metronidazole pills does that mean the (BV) odor has gone away?

My doctor prescribed me metronidazole because of my yeast infection but I'm really "iffy" about taking it because I don't want to harm my baby. Have any of u guys taken metronidazole while pregnant ?
The dose for a large lab would be 500 to 750mg twice per day tor 7 days (Do not overdose). If you have not given the correct dose or metronidazole than another course of metronidazole may help.
There could be gastrointestinal parasites not covered by the metronidazole, of course, and it would be best to have your dog's stool checked.
I started taking metronidazole and a probiotic supplement called enterogermina. After the first dose of both metronidazole and enterogermina I started having urgency to pee. I feel like I have to pee frequently. My urine does not have a strong odour and it is not cloudy and has a normal light straw colour. I was wondering if urgency to urinate may be a symptom of bacterial vaginosis or if it may be a side effect of metronidazole or enterogermina?
