I'm on rampril, spironolacton, cumadin & sotolal , pantoprazol . after 2 yrs, this condition is recent.
They did not hurt or ich. I applied light pressure to them and a tiny droplet of clear fluid came out. They did not hurt, ich or anything. Now its just 3 little scabs and they are healed up. I just noticed that last night on my forearm, there was a hair follicle that was red. When i woke up, it had a little water blister, that i touched a little and it kind of just came off. It was like a raised layer of skin and then underneath was raw skin. It was a tiny spot.
I visited the doctor Monday with a vaginal infection and was given Metronidazole to start taking. I went back for results Wednesday and I was confirmed to have BV. My doctor then gave me Erythromycin to take (2, twice a day)... as well as the Metronidazole (3, three times a day). This seems like an awful lot of antibiotics. Why was I given Erythromycin, when from as far as I can tell, Metronidazole alone is the recommended treatment for BV?

Many thanks for your reply. My mom had ICH on 8th Apr 2012. It was 7 * 4 cm bleed with impact on BG and frontal lobe. I took her to the hospital immediately. Thanks to the excellent patient management of the ICU staff, my mom could survive and after one month of hospitalization she was discharged from the hospital on 8th May 2012. She has recovered well. Now, She is able to follow the instructions and identify everyone.

When common causes are ruled then further evaluation for intracranial hypertension (ICH) is needed, brain MRI should be done to rule out any brain tumor, otherwise there can be ICH due to unknown cause. Cyclic vomiting syndrome can be seen in association with migraine. I would suggest her to consult pediatrician and rule out other causes. Metronidazole can cause diarrhea as a side effect. But it may be also working on the infective cause of your dog's illness in the first place, so don't stop it without speaking to your vet.
Meanwhile keep your dog hydrated. If you can find an unflavoured electrolyte drink like Pedialyte that would be great. Plain water would do for a short time but Pedialyte would be better.
My heart beat is erratic most of the time anyway but when I tried taking flagyl for campylobacter, it didn't affect my heart at all. I just got extremely sick and intestinal issues worsened. They had to switch me.
For the past ten days I have been taking Metronidazole (Two 250mg oral tablets, twice daily).
I took my last pills lastnight around 10:30 pm.
My question is, would it be okay for me to consume alcohol on Saturday night?
I know my pharmacist told me to absolutely stay away from alcohol while I was taking the pills because I would vomit alot, and he said most people wait a couple of days after they've finished before they drink. Im just wondering if two days is enough time?
I had to take it last week for 5 days. Everything is great with baby. It does say that there is no harm to take it however I understand your concern. I'm 27w 5d I'm sure I would've been me hesitant at 6 weeks.
I noticed it a month ago and did dent really pay attention to it. No pain no ich. It’s really dark.
Hi guys,i seen some peoples on this forum that got rid off patm with Flagyl(Metronidazole), have you tried this? Would be nice to hear some oppinions about it from peoples who actually used it.
s the chances of catching herpes orally or gently if the person does not have obvious sores or blisters.
It does not ich but I have those dots and I'm starting to panic about them being there and this happened 8months ago but nothing has changed the dots are still there I really need help
