5 yrs started complaining of stomach pain and diarrhea four days back when the doctor prescribed ofloxacin and metronidazole suspension which had some effect in the first two days but worsened later.
Subsequently we got his stool examined which tested positive with RBCs, mucous, pus cells and tiny specs of blood. The docter then gave ofloxacin and ornidazole suspension.
i contacted a doctor n he said there is no symptoms for HIV.then he gives a tablets named NORACIN(norfloxacin) n another one is protogyn(tinidazole).im used Noracin for 5 days.in that 5 days i hav feel like burning in my body.hand,feet n abdomen.i had tiredness of 20 days..now im nt using that tablets since 10 days.nw my body burning is nt like before..10 days ago i had vommiting just 1 time.im in very tention mood..im worring toomuch.my body is itching some time.
Take CIPRO Oral Suspension in the morning and evening at about the same time each day. ... Do not split, crush or chew the tablet.
metronidazole
Metoprolol should be taken with food or just after a meal. A Toprol XL tablet can be divided in half if your doctor has told you to do so. The half tablet should be swallowed whole, without chewing or crushing. Chewing or crushing the pill could cause too much of the drug to be released at one time.
My doctor gave me Norfloxacin 400mg dose twice a day for a yeast infection during my first week of pregnancy wthoutout knowing I was pregnant now that i missed my period and took the pregnancy test which came positive I know that i must have conceived a week before I actually got the thrush and went to the doctor saying I probably had the yeast infection and had passed on to my partner when he gave me Norfloxacin without checking if i was pregnant.

I have burning sensation in my urithera which persist 1 hour or some time 2 hours in a days sepcically before urination it starts.i m using norfloxacin and citrica but it is not effecting and i drink plenty of water in a days but nothing happening.NO yellow discharge shown.
Just 2-3 days after my initial pains started,i went overseas and the doctor there gave me norfloxacin as he suspected a urine infection and i took the whole dose for a week and after that i was fine.But 5 days later,it was the same time so i had another course of norfloxacin and it was the same thing-i felt well when i was on norfloxacin but the pains came back after finishing the course.
My doctor did a urine test for me when i returned from overseas.
Hi doc. I have a chronic orchitis condition. I visited my GP and he gave me norfloxacin 400mg twice per day for my condition. Is it effective? Thx a lot.
I was given a prescription for Norfloxacin to treat a UTI, diagnosed as cystitis. Based on information I've read online, this looks like a strong and potentially dangerous antibiotic to take for what I understand to be a common UTI. I am not completely comfortable with the circumstances in which I was given this antibiotic, which may be contributing to my doubts. Is this a reasonable antibiotic for me to take?
I visited the doctor Monday with a vaginal infection and was given Metronidazole to start taking. I went back for results Wednesday and I was confirmed to have BV. My doctor then gave me Erythromycin to take (2, twice a day)... as well as the Metronidazole (3, three times a day). This seems like an awful lot of antibiotics. Why was I given Erythromycin, when from as far as I can tell, Metronidazole alone is the recommended treatment for BV?

You have already stated that you are aking the question agin and again...this violates the rules of this fourm and could get you reported. Fear has nothing to do with risk. You have been told that you did not have a risk because you did not penitrate him. Now accept that you did not have a risk. if you can't maybe a therapist would do you good.
You were then treated with norfloxacin. This explains the subsequent abdominal discomfort, gas and bloating- these are all well described consequences of norfloxacin ingestion.
Regarding the patchy pale areas on the tip of your penis, I have no idea. It may be normal or a minor dermatological problem. It is unlikely to be an STD. Work with your doctor on that one.
Finally, believe the tests, they are accurate and very useful. Hope this helps.
at first i didnt bother it but after my medication in soar throat and allergy(urcatitaria), my vagina started to became itchy and again, everyday i started having green discharged for `1 week. i went to a gynecologist and she prescribed me a metronidazole miconazole vaginal suppository and ive used that for `1 week.. now what my problem is, my white discharge had stop.. i am also currently taking up medice for my UTI and had experiexed sex but that was like long time ago...
Metronidazole can cause diarrhea as a side effect. But it may be also working on the infective cause of your dog's illness in the first place, so don't stop it without speaking to your vet.
Meanwhile keep your dog hydrated. If you can find an unflavoured electrolyte drink like Pedialyte that would be great. Plain water would do for a short time but Pedialyte would be better.
I was prescribed it last week for a bacterial infection. Took it 4 times and my face started to break out in a rash. Called the pharmacist and then the doctor. Both said i was having an allergic reaction to the medicine. Both said to stop taking it. I go to the doctor next week to ddiscuss other options. So just watch out for that.....
My heart beat is erratic most of the time anyway but when I tried taking flagyl for campylobacter, it didn't affect my heart at all. I just got extremely sick and intestinal issues worsened. They had to switch me.
For the past ten days I have been taking Metronidazole (Two 250mg oral tablets, twice daily).
I took my last pills lastnight around 10:30 pm.
My question is, would it be okay for me to consume alcohol on Saturday night?
I know my pharmacist told me to absolutely stay away from alcohol while I was taking the pills because I would vomit alot, and he said most people wait a couple of days after they've finished before they drink. Im just wondering if two days is enough time?
