Hello. Methadone has a long half life,It lasts a long time in your system. Withdrawal lasts several weeks too.And 20mg is not a dose you want to jump off at,I don't think.At this time I am at 7mg and will wait till it is below 5 to bail out. Good luck in whatever you do,but being in Europe in withdrawals doesn't sound like fun.

there is also another brand name known as Dolophine. Dolophine is simply Methadone Hcl in an actual pill form, not a wafer. It comes in 5mg, and 10mg strengths. two years ago i started using Oxycodone HCL 5 mg pills i wouldnt use everyday but by a year ago i started taking them everyday.. i take anywhere from 30 mg - 60 mg a day. i have a couple methadone 10 mg tab (5 to be exact) can i use them for a couple days to detox off this medication? or can you tell me what to do to detox of this stuff?

Last weekend went to detox for Oxycodone HcL 60 mg (not extended release) a day for 2 years. (doctor prescribed). Never on street drugs or had a problem with any other prescription med.
