metaxalone anxiety

X-ray revealed nothing, and I have been through chiropractic and physical therapy with marginal relief at best ( ~ 24 hours.) medications used include metaxalone, valium and ibuprofen. stiffness has remained constant, w/ a reduced ROM when flexing my neck laterally. I also occasionally experience shooting pain up the left side of my neck when i rotate my head in that direction. Neck remains inflamed and "cracks" often.

Xanax 1mg (3 a day)I have horrible anxiety. Since soma has changed to class 3 they wont prescribe anymore. What is a good substitute-I was just reading that flexaril should be used short term b/c benefit max out after 2 wks. it doesn't bother me to change accept the soma really works., Any suggestions what to try that's a close alterative to soma?

I was told the deep hip pain is caused by a deep spasm so close to the bone that you cannot see, but it is a spasm. Forget the technical name. Metaxalone was prescribed for me and it helps about 80% of the pain. I hope I answered your question, feel free to ping me if you have any more. Neither Skelaxin (metaxalone) nor Celebrex (celecoxib) cause dependence. Your body will not crave either medication. You will not develop tolerance to either medication, nor will you suffer withdrawal symptoms in their absence. The usual dose of Skelaxin is 800mg every 6 to 8 hours (three or four times a day). Do not exceed the maximum daily dose, and don't mix Skelaxin with alcohol, barbiturates, or other CNS depressants.

I just got switched to metaxalone 800mg and i cant say if they are better or worse than flexeril as they dont seem to affect me either. I am afraid to take more than two since they are 800mg but it might affect me, if it doesnt work i think i will switch back to flexeril as i feel safer taking a higher dose, honestly just because of the size of the metaxalone pills, which i know means nothing but I heard flexeril is the strongest so if something will help maybe that will.

The old standy from Flexeral causes so much sleepiness. One of the better ones that wont make you as sleepy is Metaxalone.

I have a decent but needy job so I need to do this around work. I have a bunch of Xanax and metaxalone (not sure if the muscle relaxers will help) but would love any additional suggestions that would help make this easier whilst holding down a full time job. Any ideas are welcome, seriously, just need some help here. Already feel like an idiot for getting this bad so don't want to go to my friends and my family are in another country.

Hi. Finally, it sounds like someone that has a similar symptom to mine... sort of. I've asked around and no one could relate. The MANY MS Dr.'s I had seen said it didn't sound like an MS symptom (and they were the best in the state, members of nmss, speakers at neurological events, etc...) it was starting to frustrate me because no one would really try to figure it out. My last Dr. figured it out, but it took many, many complaints for her to listen and try to figure it out.

It use to be cleaveland heart clinic that I posted on all the time. Now its medhelp. I am having such anxiety right now I cant see straight. I have been posting on the lung forum for some things found on an xray this last week. I dont know how to ask the doctor a question. I keep going to the expert forum and posting and it just goes to the regular forum. It is so discouraging. No one will post back! Does noone post anymore. Do people not want to help anyone out anymore?

Hello everyone Ive been having anxiety due to the fact that I have low blood sugar. What is the best way to rise my blood sugar up ?? I was looking up on the Internet about my symptoms and found something that fits on what I'm feeling and going throught and haven't been eatting all that much cause I don't feel like it but now I gotta so please anyone on this board know how to rise my sugar level back to normal??

If you are just taking more to get relief from the anxiety because it is not working as well (which is common), then you need to address that with your doctor, not just take it upon yourself to take more. Good luck, update us when you can!

It's not HIV related so can't say what you should do, maybe get more sleep?

i have been having health promlems fpr the last 2months and the last four weeks ive beeb having pains in ny head they are all day but move from spot to spot and eye burning or floaters. my dr says its anxiety but how the heck do i get rid of them im usually not a person who worries and i dont think im worrying that much at the moment but cant seem to shake these symptoms im sure they are a disease but dr is saying otherwise. advice please...
