We had a few changes with the last update and one of them was to eliminate message notifications. Yes, I would like all of the features back that were deleted such as the ability to enter our joined communities through the drop-down menu. But, the one I miss most is the message notifier.

Hi. PM is short for Private Message .. In a few minutes I'm going to send you a Private Message that will arrive in your private "inbox". To access the message from this page go to the upper right hand corner of your screen and you will see the word "Inbox" .. All you need to do is click on the "inbox" and it will direct you to your message(s). Another way to retrieve a PM is via an e-mail notification that you may receive in your personal e-mail account ..

I am so frustrated, can someone please tell me how to send and reply to a private message! There are several ladies who are in my inbox,and I try to respond to them, I'm told that I'm blocking them and can't send a reply. I clicked on the red circle with the line through it, and it says unblocked, but when I write them, and check friend, it still won't go through. What am I doing wrong? I'm sure those ladies think I'm rude, but I'm just not computer literate.

The only way I know to do it is to go into a post and click on someones name. Then click send message. Once you do that you will see the word "inbox" top left corner. And if you have any messages there will be a number inside parentheses inside it. If you want to go into inbox just click on inbox and it will take you there.

Hello, please check your private message inbox from a note about name changes. You'll find your inbox on your home page in the upper right hand side.

I swear the one thing thats giving me a hard time w this app is checking my inbox. Sometimes i wouldnt even know that someone personally inbox me unless i was messaging someone and the link brings me to the account page. Been looking where actually i could access my inbox but i cant find it!

Thanks for the suggestion. The block feature is intended to allow people to not receive messages and contact from someone they feel they'd rather not talk to. We don't want to highlight to the person that is blocked that someone has done this. We'll consider this option if many of our members feel this is an issue. Please add a comment to this thread if you've encountered this issue and would like it changed.

Your account settings are under the My MedHelp tab at the top of the page. I just checked and you are not blocking any users. And my inbox says that I was able to successfully send you a private message (you'll have to go to your Inbox link under the blue MedHelp menu bar to see if it actually got to your inbox). I'm not sure why Margypops' note and private message didn't get through to you.

Check your inbox.

Click on your user name up there ^ . Click send message.

U have to get log onto med help

To check your messages click on your name once it takes you to your profile click send message. On the top left corner it will say inbox,sent, and compose.

There's no longer an "inbox" on the forum page? The only way we know we have a message is to keep checking the profile page? I hope this gets cleared up because it's inefficient right now... Thanks!
