I thought after you got ones levels into range the menstrual cycle was supposed to normalize. I have had about 3 50 day cycles since I was diagnosed and started meds. Before my cycles were 37, 49, 34, stopped taking birth control in mid October. Was just wondering if anyone knows if this is normal for a women with hypothyroidism?

I never had a 22-23 day cycle always 28-31. A normal cycle is considered like 28 days. Try using a ovulation predictor calendar then when ever it says you should be ovualating i would use ovulation kit and test each day in the 11 day time frame until you get a postive.

I have irregular period cycle. Ave period length is 2 weeks, with 2-3 weeks "break" in between. It causes my calendar to mess up (we're trying to conceive). Is this menstrual cycle normal? Any advice re timing?

Cervical mucous is probably a more reliable predictor of ovulation than the calendar method. After a year of using the calendar method, I started taking temps and opk I realized that the calendar method was not predicting ovulation correctly for me. Cervical mucous will be the consistency of egg whites during your most fertile time.

Hi there, Are you referring to your menstrual cycle tracker? Or are you using the My Cycles app as well? According to your menstrual cycle tracker, you are on cycle day 33. If you are using the My Cycles app, the pink/red lines on certain dates are when you are on your period. The green lines are when you are expected to be fertile or in other words, when you would likely ovulate. Your predicted period is shown with pink/red and white lines.

You are most fertile during ovulation so during this time you should have sex daily or every other day. You could also try OPK's (ovulation predictor kits). yes but when you are trying for a bub, like me, you can also (aswell as online) get a OPK (Ovulation Predictor Kit) which should have around 7 tests (1 for each day) which you test at the same time each day to predict when you are ovulating or about to ovulate. I start from about CD10 and test all the way through till CD17...... this is the 1st month though that i have actually used one of these and yesterday my positive came up for me ovulating or about to ovulate.......

A regular cycle (although this varies quite a bit from person to person) is about 28 days, and since most calendar months are 30-31 days, you will generally have your period again before the full month is up. Some women have even shorter cycles, which makes it even more apparent. As for your initial question, yes, a woman with two periods within one calendar month can definitely still conceive.

I am a little confused by your question. to increase your chances of pregnancy. have sex 14 days before your next menstrual cycle. or actually start before then. like start on day 10 of before your next menstrual cycle. that's when you are going to ovulate. if you have a regular 28 day cycle. you would need to have sex anywhere from cd10-cd17. just to make sure you catch when you ovulate. also you can get ovulation predictor kits at the drugstore.

It's ovulation predictor kit and used after your menstrual cycle to detect ovulation. The only downside to using them is just because you get a positive OPK doesn't actually mean you ovulated. Good luck.

s if she has a regular menstrual cycle. If she does not, then she probably did not ovulate on day you guys predicted. She probably ovulated later. So there's still a possibility of her getting pregnant. The only way to know for sure if she is pregnant is to take a test when her NEXT period is late or missed. &/or go to the doctor to make sure it's correct.

if ur girl confirm has a 32 day cycle n u blew it inside her just after her menstrual period there r very few changes of getting her pregnant..but there is never surety..anything can happen,,ovulation takes place near the 14th or 15th day of cycle so ur case is safe enough but next time b careful use precaution cuz nature can do anything we cannot say anything with surety..b careful next time ,...

I just wanted to know why my nurse would give me a different due date than every app or calendar would. My last menstrual was Jan.25th. The due date calendar days Nov.1. She says October 20th(my birthday). How can that be accurate? Perhaps, if I got pregnant near my period only right?? Thanks ladies.
