Avatar f tn Its like menstrual cramps but much worse. You will know when you are in labor without a doubt. During contractions, the abdomen becomes hard. Between contractions, the uterus relaxes and the abdomen becomes soft. The way a contraction feels is different for each woman, and may feel different from one pregnancy to the next. But labor contractions usually cause discomfort or a dull ache in your back and lower abdomen, along with pressure in the pelvis.
Avatar f tn I had a lot of cramping as well during my 1st trimester but it's normal because the uterus is expanding which can causes cramps. Just like you going have cramps/contractions during 3rd trimester. It's uterus adjusting for baby.
170623 tn?1242664063 I had cramping and stretching feelings every day in my first trimester and off and on during the second. They never lasted too long, and were never strong cramps, but noticeable and did make me worry. But, I've heard it's perfectly normal! It's stopped in my second trimester. I feel little cramps now and then but def. not as much. Hope this helps to ease your mind. I wouldn't worry unless they are heavy, long-lasting cramps with spotting.
Avatar f tn ( i usually get really bad cramps lime horrible ). They were usual during the first trimester . I was told its my uterus growing and if it wasnt bad and no spotting.
Avatar f tn I've heard that having menstrual like cramps during pregnancy is normal. Mine are not that painful, and are not constant. Is anyone else experiencing cramps or have had them in pregnancy? I seem to worry about every little thing or symptom.
Avatar f tn I bled w a period like bleeding my firsr and second trimester. The first time i bled for 4 days and needed to wear a pad. I went like 3 times to the hospital and the baby was fine. They just said it was due to a sensitive cervix. If there is no pain or cramping then it should stop. Just try to lay doen and keep.hydrated.

Avatar f tn Hi ladies! I am about five weeks along now and I was wondering when most of you stopped cramping if you experienced any at all. I've always had really painful menstrual cramps and it feels almost the same, except there's no blood. Your input would be very helpful as well as maybe some ways to sooth the pain without medication. Thanks!

Avatar f tn Has anyone experienced menstrual like cramps early in pregnancy? I am almost 6 weeks and have off and on menstrual like cramps anywhere from my sides to my pelvic area. I had an ovarian cyst rupture recently so I was told the pain in my side came from the fluid left around my ovaries and that it would take care of itself. It has been 11 days since the cyst ruptured but I still occasionally have pain.
Avatar n tn I experienced menstrual like cramps daily in my first 12 weeks. I am now 22 weeks and we have a healthy baby!

Avatar f tn Is it normal to have constant menstrual cramps while walking or after walking. I am 36 weeks 5 days pregnant.
Avatar f tn Yes it is for the first few months some people still have menstrual cramps when there period is due. I did until the second trimester. As long as you are not bleeding or passing any clots and it's only happening when AF would have been due I wouldn't be to concerned. If your too worried call your doctor it never hurts to check.
Avatar f tn When the uterus stretches it feels like menstrual cramps, mine were a but stronger than regular menstrual cramps. If they get unbearable I would call the doctor just to be safe.
3136223 tn?1367960716 I know some women get leg cramps due to their menstrual cycle, however I never have). Were these leg cramps due to pregnancy?
Avatar f tn Hi there. A lot of women do have cramps. They would be like mild menstrual cramps. If they are pains, that's different. But most likely this is normal and lots of women experience them. So, try not to worry--- your doctor's appointment is in a few days.
Avatar f tn re a perfectly normal part of pregnancy and can begin to occur as early as the second trimester, although they usually occur more commonly in the third trimester of your pregnancy; also, not every pregnant woman will experience them. Braxton Hicks contractions are your body’s way of getting ready for actual labor. Initially they may be scary, especially as their intensity increases near the end of the pregnancy and you're not sure if it's the real deal or not.
Avatar n tn Did you have a doctor when you had a molar pregnancy? That would be a good person to call. I would wait to see what happens. I'm sorry you are experiencing this. If you start bleeding, then you can go to the ER. Women do have things that feel like menstrual cramps during the first trimester. And all can be just fine. So, don't assume. Try to rest a little.
