So this is my second pregnancy, I unfortunately had a partial molar pregnancy the first time, and I am scared out of my mind about this pregnancy. I am about 5 weeks along and I've been having some menstral like cramping every once in a while. I know it's normal to have cramping but would anyone else describe them as being similar to menstral cramps? I have a friend who had cramping and is now having a miscarriage so I'm real nervous.

t really remember but I think it lasted most of the first trimester and then would come and go after that. As for the taste in your mouth is it kinda coppery like blood? If so that is also very normal. Dizziness could be from high blood pressure or anemia caused by pregnancy.

this is my first pregnancy I am about 5 weeks and I have had these cramps too! I was worried so asked for advice and it is nornal aslong as its not accompanied with blood.. it is just ur uterus stretching apparently! I hope this puts ur mind at ease but get a second opinion to be sure!

Most of the time cramps are just your uterus expanding they feel like menstrual cramps. If they are worse than that though it can be a reaction to depression or medication.

It is totally normal to have cramps as long as you are not bleeding or in severe pain you are good.

Your body is working so hard to keep you and your baby alive! It just is part of being pregnant. It will just worsen as the baby gets bigger, but hey you are already in the second trimester! Not much longer now!

Yes it's normal. Some ppl have it throughout their entire pregnancy. Most ppl don't have past their 1 trimester but some do n some all 9 months. Just hope urs goes away. It can stop at any time or continue or stop and come back.
