I am in my first trimester at 7w 1d and have been experiencing some side pain and stomach/abdominal cramping similar to menstrual cramps. This is my second pregnancy. I didnt have anything but a little nausea with my first so these symptoms are a bit new to me. Is this to be expected and for ahout how long?

definately agree with blugenie,about wearing a pad.another way of using them,is first thing in morning get up have pee.put one in and go back to bed for little while.then at night put one in before bed.that way they can dissolve better inside you,rather than getting up.walking round soon as you have used them.its very normal to have cramping etc in early pregnancy and throughout.good luck to you.

Cramping is completely normal and everyone gets it in early pregnancy. I can't really remember but I think it lasted most of the first trimester and then would come and go after that. As for the taste in your mouth is it kinda coppery like blood? If so that is also very normal. Dizziness could be from high blood pressure or anemia caused by pregnancy.

Has anyone else had cramps, like menstrual cramps, throughtout the entire first trimester? I never had this when I was pregnant with my first 2 pregnancies, constant cramps, pains, and nausea 24/7. Does it ever stop?

s because the uterus is stretching and as long as its not bad cramping like menstrual Pain. Its quiet. Normal for the first trimester of pregnancy. just lay down and don't lift anything heavy if theres bleeding go to the ER.

I had really bad cramps in the first trimester my midwife said that it was just my ligaments stretching as my uterus grows but talk to your midwife about it or doctor. Could also be constipation? ?

If they are pretty bad cramps I'd call your doctor. Miscarriages normally happen in the first trimester and since you've been cramping that long I'd def call. I'm not trying to scare you.

Implantation cramps. Mine lasted most of the first two months. sometimes woke me up at night they were so bad. They are normal unless accompanied by bleeding.
