Avatar m tn CHAMS is the child and teen mental health trust they deal with everything from eating disorders, autism, mental health issues and helping children discover sexulaly. I've just thought if your not in the UK then your doctor will have a similar service that they can send you too.
Avatar m tn also this really isn't a std related issue. I'd look for a forum for men's health or men's prostate/urethritis issues for better follow up. we help with getting a proper diagnosis and testing and something that's an issue for 10 years, isn't an issue for this forum.
Avatar n tn Canadian Paediatric Society http://www.cps.ca/english/statements/fn/fn96-01.htm "Recommendation: Circumcision of newborns should not be routinely performed." http://www.caringforkids.cps.ca/pregnancy&babies/circumcision.htm "Circumcision is a 'non-therapeutic' procedure, which means it is not medically necessary." "After reviewing the scientific evidence for and against circumcision, the CPS does not recommend routine circumcision for newborn boys.
Avatar n tn I have a really embarrassing problem (or at least it is to me). My problem is that one side of my labia minora is considerably and very noticeably longer than the other. I have had no sexual contact with guys (which in turn as ruined almost all of my relationships to the point now that I have stopped dating all together) fearing what they will think. Now, I know for a fact that this is normal and is not a health issue but that hasn't helped me to be confident with myself "down there.
Avatar n tn Having become convinced that it is more often than not a case of 'patient heal thyself', I have rigorously applied my own research abilities to investigating issues connected with cardiac health, and can surmise with no small degree of confidence that the advice dispensed by Hank is IMHO generally considered and sound........ and MOST helpfull and reassuring in the vast majority of cases. But as the old saying goes, you can't please all of the people all of the time.....
645800 tn?1466864555 Every time I eat up there not only do I have to use the men's room at the restaurant before I head home, I also have to stop twice on the way home due to the IBS. I did my normal routine stops on the way home but was not able to go. Not sure if this means the constipation is getting worse or the IBS was not active for some reason this time.
Avatar m tn Some companies provide their own insurance, and some insurers are grasping they can save money with procedures done overseas. http://www.businessinsider.com/medical-tourism-as-an-alternative-to-obamacare-2013-10 "HSM, a manufacturer in North Carolina, is one of the many companies that encourage employees to undergo costly medical services across U.S. borders. The company reported that this medical alternative has saved it nearly $10 million in the last five years.
Avatar f tn A friend of hers also had an implant which had adhered to the bone. This person also started having a myriad of health issues, and so had the implant removed and did start feeling better. This would contradict my periodontists' assertion that osseointigration of implant material is evidence of no problem for your body. I gave her my number and asked for her friend to call me. I am waiting to talk to her. Talk to you later.
Avatar m tn A common complaint is left-side veins 'popping' out or becoming much more prominent, also sometimes accompanied by some pain. I've heard some complain of right-side issues, but I personally have not had much of an issue with that side. 3. Shorter length. - Usually nocturnal erections are normal length, and sometimes spontaneous are normal length, but many times, especially when other symptoms are present it can be difficult to get to full-length erection...
Avatar m tn I think this would be a very good time to schedule a complete work up to find out exactly why your so fatigued and experiencing brain fog. Set up an appointment and get to the bottom of your health issues.
Avatar n tn Hello everyone, I have this same issue. I know this under "Mens Health issues" but I am a 35 yr old female and have been having extreme heat sensations in my left wrist for about six months. I can go a week at a time without this sensation, and then out of nowhere it just is there. I am a non smoker. I have been undergoing several MRI tests in the past six months.
Avatar n tn wife thinks it may be a circulation problem related to the varicoceles I seem to be developing. I'm due to get an ultrasound soon for this and other issues, so I will let everyone know what I find.
Avatar n tn It is good to read your posting again, as it seems our issues are very similar and hopefully we both will end up with good results. Keep posting, Thank you.
Avatar n tn OMG!! 46, will be 47 in June. Can't even tell you how everything seems to be failing, wrinkling, etc. & yes, it seems like it happened overnight. Perimenopausal as well. Had complete check up recently & no major health issues. However, my gyno has me hrt's(which I REALLY want to get off of). Added into the mix of all the skin issues mentioned, I am losing my hair like CRAZY. Anyone else having hair loss issues?
Avatar n tn I also wanted to let you know that most counties have Health Depts. which will offer free women's health check-ups and planned parenthood for B.C. and such. We'll be here to listen if you ever need help.
Avatar n tn I'm in a similar situation. I'm 30, my boyfriend is 28. I've had health problems. He says the health problems don't change his view of me. Maybe this is bunk. If marriage didn't exist, my relationship would be perfect. No two people more right for each other. Yadda yadda. I'm not going to get into the details. What makes me angry about this is how many of you women I see being exceptionally cool about the whole deal. You know what you want -- committment. You want long term stability.
Avatar f tn I have had cause to think about this recently here in UK because my local politician started to send me AIDs literature after I wrote to him about HCV. It turns out he does not even have an HCV mailing list so my name got filed under HIV although I don't have HIV. It seems to me, at least talking about the UK, that the HIV bandwagon is so well established that any mainstream respectable politician just about has to be on it.
Avatar n tn Scoliosis, from what I have read can eventually lead to some health issues later in life. Definitely get it checked out.
Avatar n tn Sometimes the mumps, chicken poxs, head tramua, etc can cause issues with the piturity that in turn cause hormonal issues and also the testicles. You need to get the following checked: Total Testosterone Bioavailable Testosterone Estradiol DHT LH FSH TSH SHBG Prolactin @MPV Doing good, thanks for asking. How about yourself? Inguinal Hernia can cause all manner of problems including disturbances to the testicular vein plexas due to additional pressure on the testicular veins.
Avatar f tn A good sulfate free shampoo is an excellent choice and if your hair dresser is serious about your hair they will discount or even try the trial sizes until you are happy with a product. If they are not interested in the health of your hair, you may want to ask others to recommend someone to you that does. The price you pay for experimenting with various remedies without success can cost more than an experienced hairstylist.
Avatar n tn I am taking a probiotic and Colloidal Silver to see if it will help. Both of these items can be purchased through a health food store. I've been taking it now for about two weeks. My symptoms are slowly getting better but still feels uncomfortable. I'm wondering if my partner needs to be treated, could he be a carrier of this??
Avatar n tn Also, I have poly-cystic ovarian syndrome which causes some hormonal issues...does anyone else with pcos have smelly hoo-ha issues? BTW for those who don't know, pcos isn't an std or anything like that, my ovaries just don't work right and as a result screw up my hormones.
Avatar n tn Hi. I just signed on to make a comment that might help. Those of you with doctors refusing to bring levels to optimal should really consider seeing another doctor. Most "Knowledgeable" doc's these days consider anything under 325 or 350 to be too low, and higher than that is typical for younger men and "optimal", not "normal" health. It's normal to have high cholesterol, too, that doesn't mean it's 'good'. One thing you might consider looking into....
Avatar n tn *** I haven't read anyone discussing any balance issues. I personally have a lot of slight balance issues, feel as if I'm leaning a bit to the left when walking. And a real subtle bit of swaying when standing still, has anyone else had this symptom? Essentially I haven't slept a solid nights sleep in six weeks. I sleep with a pillow between legs trying to alleviate leg symptoms. Doctor took some blood tests, all came back "normal". Though I'm not really sure what he tested me for.
Avatar n tn 1. The health (standard skin health). 2. The function (urinoir dispenser, reproductive, pleasure). 3. The maintenance (standard health management according to the area's condition). 4. The aplication (serving the only husband is the safest to avoid STD, HIV, AIDS, & damage due to extreme use). Every nature creation, including in genetic factors, must have special aim. Nothing is 100% similar.
Avatar f tn It was gradual - just an occasional itch somewhat seasonal moving onto both arms, from shoulder to wrist, and all year round. I have had some issues with neck aches but nothing consistent. Also, have religiously tracked my diet eliminating gluten for example but to no avail. I see that someone posted using the flucinonide .5% - that worked for about 4 months and gradually stopped plus it thinned my skin tremendously.
Avatar n tn They see that I am slim and active, and they dismiss me - I live in the UK (free socialised healthcare - so not a lot of time to spend with patients). Has anyone else experienced this? I see lots of threads on here with the same topic, but they all have to do with taking medications, being overweight, being a current/past smoker, being depressed/having anxiety, etc. Please help - I'm tired of living like this.
