memory

Avatar m tn It is too weird, I swear this very morning, I was driving into work and heard this song on the radio, and thought to myself that the words were very inspirational. The part where he says, "easy, let go and let god deal with it".. So true, and such a good song. Also, try listening to Linkin Parks "What Ive done". Its a great song and one that helped get me through my w.d. Music was a huge source of help and inspiration for me. Hope you are well.
784382 tn?1376931040 i know how you all feel as i have been there this past year with losing my grandma and a few other friends and family but it hurts and is very very hard.....i was driving home the other day and the Dj came on the radio and said " this is for anyone who has lost someone" and played this song.... i fell in a deep deep cry, it was the most amazing song i ever heard. his words were everything i was feeling about missing my grandma and everyone else......
Avatar m tn Gosh, could be a variety of things going on. Try taking a quality and extensive vitamin/mineral supplement, break it in half, and take that a couple times a week, helps the mind work a lot better. Eating enough protein also helps thinking powers. Sometimes docs will prescribe Aracept, which is for Alzheimers, but is apparently also used to help confused minds work a little better.
Avatar f tn I have documented short-term memory loss plus bouts of depression.(no meds for depression) Lately I have been experiencing extreme sleeplessness. Who/where do I start for these? Are they all related? My GP? Neuro? Psych? A sleep clinic?
Avatar n tn I have neen diagnosed with concussion syndrome it has been 20 months since I have worked also have slight herrniated disc with a pinched nerve and loss if lordosis in my neck. I have loss of executive functioning. I go the wrong way on one way streets. I drive the wrong direction to a familiar destination. I get feelings like my jead is floating above itself/ euphoric/swimming/light headed. Headaches all the time. Poor short term memory. Aphasia.
Avatar m tn I forget name of movies I watch but remember songs and lyrics. I am unable to track even with the help of psychologist and therapist. what to do? I am tottally confused what people are doing and saying and why and can't respond to them properly. I can't figure it out whats wrong with me?
175734 tn?1225134440 Spirit of the West in Canada - if they still exist. They do one number of "I Got You, Babe" sung by two guys lol They're talented and funny.
Avatar f tn I am fortunate in that I've always had a very good memory...photographic in many ways. I do a lot of stage work which entails memorizing lines/lyrics to songs/music, so I've managed to keep my memory pretty intact (most of the time). This kind of thing only happens when I'm driving. Very weird. Does anyone out there with this malformation also have intermittant elbow pain? Just curious.
Avatar m tn Like the "deep cut" stuff. I like the "deep cuts" station and Vault on satellite radio. The while I listened to the "Radio", it was mostly heavy metal / headbanger stuff, which is OK, but I like the older hippie rock 'n roll a little better. I give it another tune-in to check it out again. I know, but I like it!
Avatar n tn My husband has been on the treatment for almost seven months he has another five to go. Does the memory loss get better after the treatment has ended. What does anyone suggest he can do vitamin wise and food wise etc to feel better.
Avatar n tn In 2007 he had a hip replacement done and ended up having 3 operations within one week because of complications. My question is could the buildup of medications etc cause him to now have memory loss, language skills loss and tremors in his right hand. He walked in to the hospital on crutches and now is dependent on a wheelchair.
Avatar f tn This does not have any long term complications. The person just needs support from family members and has to learn to live with the memory loss. Memory loss is also a common symptom of frontal lobe injury. Damage to the frontal lobe of the brain causes frontal encephalomalacia. Encephalomalacia is not an illness. It is basically a softening of the brain matter as a result of an ischemia or infarction, degenerative changes, infection, craniocerebral trauma, or other injury.
Avatar m tn Sorry Hi, My question really is about memory loss. I am only 24 years and I feel like I am too young to be experiencing this kind of memory loss; I don't know what you want to call it but I just think maybe it's getting worse? I always had a little hard time remembering things but recently I think it has reached a level now where it is impacting me and my surrondings. Less than a week ago, I lost my iphone, (or so I thought) when going at the post office.
Avatar f tn Well I now know what the memory loss is from....I'm so stoooopid. I'm 9 days off of vicodin, thought all was amazing, but stupid me had 7 ativan and decided to take one or two on wed thurs and fri..I've been taking ativan on an as needed basis since my miscarriage on july 4th...I can honestly say I've never taken more than three a day and it's not something I love or crave ever. This miscarriage threw me for a loop and the anxiety was for real.
Avatar n tn No question to me that depression itself is the main culprit for memory loss or just difficulties bringing to the front things you know well. Just can't spit 'em out. Don't forget the benefits of memory loss either!! You only need to buy one movie CD!!!
Avatar m tn But doing this resulted in side effect like shrinking of brain leading to memory loss. He is in critical condition now. Is there any solution for this. If yes, please give that advice fast.
Avatar n tn It also takes a while for the body to adjust to the medications; they have to change the medications to wean a person off of the ventilator, from what I understand. My Dad got confused and agitated in ICU after his heart surgery (triple bypass, aneurysm repair, and aortic valve replacement--all in one surgery.) He was trying to pull out his tubes and climb out of bed, take off his gown, etc. He knew who we/his daughters were, but did not know where he was or why he was in the hospital.
Avatar m tn After she stopped taking the pain medication (oxicodine) she has memory loss. At first it was little things, but now she does not know what year it is, how old she is, or that she just had surgery. She does have some memory, like she knows who me and my sister are and what she does for work. Another symptom is that she says her body is soar, like she lifted a bunch of weights. We are looking for any type of input/advise. Her doctors have been doing every test and scan.
Avatar m tn Found nothing after 6 weeks everything went back to normal, except my eyes which have 20/20 vision but i see white noise in the dark ceiling at night. Also the light from the road at the top of the blind is all gell like,And not sharp at all. Now nearly a year to the day, mylifes up side down.Have hissing in my ears, see stars and black specs in the sky or when i look at blank walls which also appear to have a layer of jelly over them.stright lines, light posts ect. have halos around them.
Avatar m tn The doctor told me to loose weight !!!!!!
Avatar n tn I am a year and half post tx and I am experiencing memory loss, processing information (use to have a wonderful sense of direction) and just not myself. I have a very hectic job and I feel there are times I cannot keep up--and yes my confidence has diminished...anyone out there feel the same way...???
Avatar f tn You would have to ask her Doctor that one, is she on meds as I do know that some have an effect on short term memory, what is she taking, ask her Doctor if the meds could be the reason, maybe her dosage, has she been upset maybe suffering from anxiety?
