Panadol (paracetamol) and adhd can't be caused by taking medication.
Lasix in the morning and Seroquel (low dose) at night. She has become more irritable and seems depressed. Should she stop or reduce her medications?
Medication may be what she needs due to a chemical imbalance in the brain but before putting her on Zoloft I would get a 2nd and 3rd opinion...

I must say i am 25 now and have been having attacks since i was 17, at her age my doc put me on zoloft, and i also tried lexapro. Sometimes medications help and sometimes they dont. Everyone reacts differently. i know that answer ***** :-( i also have been trying everything but medication to help me cope, i go for walks, i go to counceling. i still have a prescription for zoloft which i havent started yet because i am so determined to control this on my own...
t be afraid to let him know certain behavior is not acceptable but if its a symptom his psychiatrist could discus this further with him and see how to address it. Also new medications are being developed all the time. If he hasn't responded to all existing treatments that doesn't mean he might not respond to others that will be approved.. Its essential to keep yourself updated. Also there are places you could discuss coping solutions such as NAMI friends and family meetings.
While researching this I found that stimulant medications can cause symptoms of schizophrenia and/or open the door for early onset. My question is whether or not we should take him off the Concerta. Will this make any difference? Also any information about schizophrenia in children would be helpful. I do not think it is severe in my son, but I am worried and am unsure of how to approach this.
Research has shown that a no sugar / dairy diet really has any affect on the behavior of hyperactive children. Treatment is behavioral methods and medications, if necessary. Possibly the Child Behavior Expert Forum may help you.

My husband is on a number of heart medications due to having a heart attack when he was in his late 20's (high lipoprotein a). He is well and his meds seem to suit him and do a great job of keeping him healthy. We want to start a family in the next year or two but are concenred about whether the meds he is on could affect his fertility. He is on daily aspirin, a beta blocker (carvedilol), a statin (pravastatin), ACE inhibitor (ramipril) and spironolactone.
We just saw number 4 today and she is fantastic and I felt answered my questions and listened to what I had to say (we had to drive to another state but well worth it).
Was he evaluated for Long QT? That jumped out at me right away as that is very dangerous. My daughter was first suspected of having long qt and that's why we ended up at a cardiologist initially.
I really have no other advice than get a second opinion.

My husband is trying hard to take care of the family and his job. Family and friends help with food and give me a break when they can with my children. My life is a mess right now. I miss my time with my children and my husband. I am living in the dark and just can't imagine how a birth control pill could this kind of damage to me.
I would not wish this on anyone.
I do belong to a support group for parents and teachers of children suffering from anxiety and many of our children are taking SSRI's - Prozac, Zoloft, Celexa, etc. some as young as three years of age. Our child has been taking a SSRI for about six years (she is now 12 years old) and we hope she will be able to function without her medication very soon.

How much is stress the culprit in cardiac conditions? I have a first degree blockd artery and thinning of the aortic wall. I have perfect cholesterol and triglyceride levels. I was told mine was due to repetitive stress. What if I just can't reduce the stress in my life (2 children) and single parent with bipolar disorder (applied for disability)?
I'm a first time prego and was not planning and or even having sex on a regular basis. Was taking medication for my add and for chronic pain from bad accident. I also am around spray paint and other finishing chems for my business. I found out I'm pregnant because I was spotting and honestly couldn't remember my last period. Went to doc and was too early for ultrasound, but had blood twice now and waiting to see if levels have doubled.
But, I read about botox injections and something else ....with medications that I am avoiding. For the moment, I take neurontin, and lamotrigine. And I was on morphine patches which I decided to stop.
The doctor prescibed Trazadone which will help me sleep But, it is unfriendly to tardive dyskinesia;so, I plan to stop it as well......I appreciate your answering.

The other causes could be jaundice if there is yellowish discoloration of skin, food poisoning if the symptoms occurred shortly after taking food, peptic ulcer disease and sometimes cholecystitis and pancreatitis. Please discuss this with your doctor am sure he will provide further assistance. In the meantime take oral fluids.
