Avatar n tn Hello everyone, I wanted to know, if anyone would be interested in my left over medication at a fraction of the cost. I have 10 vals of menupor (2 boxes) expiration date 08/08 and 30 vals of bravelle (6 boxes) expiration date 11/08 left over. Please let me know, it does not have to go to waste.
Avatar m tn You will notice that they sel Avonex via pens, syringles and vials. Vials are significantly lower. Is there any reason why I wouldn't go with vials? I can give myself an injection if I have to going this route.
179856 tn?1333547362 In a videotaped deposition, Teva executive Craig Lea said the company knew the risks of the larger vials when it sought federal approval to make the 10 milliliter vials in 2000. Lea said the smaller vials would be safer and reduce the temptation to reuse a vial between patients. Based on that knowledge, the company never should have supplied the larger vials to endoscopy centers, D'Attellis testified. "They knew what the risk was, and they did it anyway," he said.
Avatar f tn Nope. The metametrix one is three vials only one time, all vials filled with different liquids to make sure nothing goes off. The usual tests doctors do are tests for blood, bacteria cultures which need live bacteria to grow, and to test for parasites under the microscope. For this they need bacteria and fungi that are alive, but most bacteria are dying when they get in contact with air.
Avatar f tn normal saline is used in hopitals/salt and sterile water..comes in vials and is used to flush iv's and such..or mix with medications..
Avatar f tn I found it positivley repulsive that he would have the audacity to tell me that he is concerned about the cost of my treatment when he ordered 50 vials in the middle of an already failing cycle. We are driving 100 miles to every visit. This is the closest and "best-rated" office I could find. What do I care if we stimulate for another cycle? I have already spent the money and have the meds sitting on my desk. UGH!! I could not respond. I had nothing nice to say to him.
1021834 tn?1379292300 Plus DH is coming home on leave in 4 months right about O time of month and then coming home for good in 6 months, so we will continue to try naturally. But there were 4 vials of sperm left at the clinic which I didn't want to waste so I looked up ivi on the net and decided to give that a shot. Only thing was, the clinic had never had anyone want to do this before (leave it to me to rock the boat). :) So here come the lawyers to decide if they could give me our sperm back.
163305 tn?1333668571 NEW YORK (AP) — The potential scope of the meningitis outbreak that has killed at least five people widened dramatically Thursday as health officials warned that hundreds, perhaps thousands, of patients who got steroid back injections in 23 states could be at risk. Clinics and medical centers rushed to contact patients who may have received the apparently fungus-contaminated shots.
233616 tn?1312787196 According to the company’s recall notice, the action is necessary because cracks in the necks of a small number of Procrit vials were discovered upon post-manufacturing inspection. Avatar f tn I have a low ovarian reserve but still have regular periods (23 to 24 days) and FSH was 14 - I am 45 years old. Had one IUI cycle (100 of Clomid) and responded well (follicles grew though slowly and E2 got up to 693 but it didn't take. We pursued IVF beginning Jan 5 but my follicles were only 7x7 and 6x7 (R/L) and my E2 only 9.9 so the cycle was cancelled on day 10.

Avatar f tn To add some history, my eye dr explained to me several years ago that I have "dry eyes". That my ducts don't produce tears or something like that so I have to use over the counter eye drops daily. This burning, painful, running eye thing began just a few months ago and mainly comes on in the evenings and my "flare ups" last anywhere btwn 15-20 min at a time. It burns even while the tears are falling. I havnt got this checked cuz its something I just deal with.
264121 tn?1313029456 I did some kind of dodgey things back then, like using non multi-dose vials more than once and/or storing epogen in an extra needle if I wanted to divide the bottle in half. Short of getting two different strengths of epo at the time, it was my only alternative.
1221207 tn?1267061572 is suggesting to try bravelle since i am paying for all medications out of pocket, I will be moving to IVF. If anyone knows where I can get discount meds, please let me know.
402205 tn?1230481005 Hi everyone, Especiallly VaBresze and Ree4tu, I went for my initial appointment and it was so encouraging. Ree4tu you were right about the blood, 29 vials!. I'm still taking my normal prescriptions that help with pain, fatigue and RLS as well as additional supplements. I have both CFS and Fibromyalgia. From the initial diagnosis it appears I have a problem with yeast and low thyroid.

Avatar f tn my father had a cataract operation in right eye on 4th january,2011.
Avatar m tn I have had two routine blood workups over the past few months and both times, the results showed elevated liver enzymes. My doctor has decided to do more in-depth blood work. Yesterday, I went and had my blood drawn and they took 11 vials!! That seemed like a lot of vials. Can anyone advise what type of tests my doctor could be running?
Avatar f tn Yep what she said :)
1014822 tn?1338648073 That is the price negotiated with my insurance, so for someone with different insurance it might cost more or less. How many vials you need depends on your dose and how fast your folls grow. I used 3-4 vials for 1 cycle. Women on the highest dose would use 1 vial per day. Good luck!
478429 tn?1265244387 my injectables were menopur, $50/vial, 5 vials per month, + femara $20, + hcg trigger novarel, $20, approximately $300 per month + day 3 ultrasound, $170 and day 11 ultrasound, $125.
Avatar m tn I wanted to add that on the 21st I took her to an ecodoppler in the hospital, after having made 14 days of antithrombotics (6 days of Fluxum 4250 +8 days of Vessel vials), for suspected thrombosis in one leg and she was therefore tighted with belts in barrella, had the two things caused damage to internal organs? Because, I repeat, all this yellow I've never seen, constipation yes even 4 -5-6 days. Nothing in rectal exploration.
Avatar f tn I live in the LA area and I am paying $359.00 for Menopur (5 vials) and someone on the forum said they bought it for $150 for 5. I am wondering if anyone knows places to get discount meds. My pharmacy (MDR) claims they are giving me 30% off but it's still so much higher...
