I do know that the weakness and numbness in one side can be caused by the MS, but it did not occur until i took the macrobid. I was stopped from taking the macrobid and started on it 2 more times and each time the weakness returned. Is there anyway to fix this? It is getting rather annoying and saddens me cause it feels like i cant do anymore what i like to. If anyone has had the same thing happen, please let me know im not alone... How can the weakness and numbness be stopped.
Okay so I have been on BC for 3 years and I have never missed a pill I am a "perfect user". I am a complete worry wart so I have some questions and the likelihood of me getting pregnant.
On the first week on my BC pack this month I got a UTI and was prescribed Macrobid for 5 days. My husband and I didn't have sex during that time and we used condoms for about 5 days after I was finished with the antibiotic.
I was on macrobid for a UTI at the time of collection (started on macrobid Saturday, had 4 doses by the time of collection on Monday morning, blood work as fasting so last dose taken before blood collection was over 12 hours previously). Does anyone know if macrobid affects eGFR or is this level an induction of possible kidney infection/disease/cancer?
I was diagnosed with a minor UTI (my first one ever) about 8 days ago. They gave me a three day dose of Macrobid - which I did not consume. I am too afraid. I am allergic to the cillins (anaphylaxis), and have had a horrible reaction to quinones. Every time I thought about putting that little Macrobid in my mouth, I would start to panic. The following day, without the Macrobid, my symptoms were much improved. The day after that - even better.
I am on Tecfidera 240 mg dose. It just occurred to me I missed the morning dose. I have a call into the specialty pharmacy for direction. I didn't find much on the web except "take it as soon as you remember and if close to your next dose take it then but don't double up". This is the first time I missed since starting therapy last month. I feel terrible. Is this incredibly bad?
Do I still take the ribavirin pills since I missed the dose? After 4 weeks I was tested and no virus was showing so I am worried that this is going to be a set back. I am anemic as well. Just need to know what to do??? Hep clinic closed for weekend as is doc office and pharmacist had no clue. Anyone been through this?
The urinalysis that was sent to the lab showed that their was a tiny bacteria but they werent sure if this was due to cross contamination. My questions are below, the dr took put me on macrobid saying this may help my issue.
1 Prescribed Macrrobid which I believe has Helped, Would this cure NGU? From what I read Macrobid is generally given for UTI's which im hoping is what I have. The dr never mentioned NGU to me .
So he prescribed me Cipro (stopped after 1 dose due to a reaction) and now on Bactrim (7/10 dose now). I feel like **** for the first three days and today feel more energy but the right side urethra urination pain is still here and feeling worse. Anyone experience this or have a clue what this is? Thanks!

I went to the doctor 7 days ago after experiencing symptoms of a UTI (pain, blood in urine, frequent urination). The doctor said I had a UTI, and prescribed 100mg Macrobid, 2x a day for 7 days.
I just finished my last dose. I no longer have pain, burning, or blood when going to the bathroom, however I do have a general discomfort in my lower abdomen. What does this mean?
s for the past 2-3 years and have seen a Urologist. I was on a low dose antibiotic daily that seemed to be effective, but when my husband and I started seeing a fertility specialist I was told to switch to macrobid. My urologist made this switch but recommended I only take it when I get a UTI. While I was pregnant I didn't seem to have any issues, but I had a miscarriage 4 weeks ago.
Also been tested for bv and yeast many times, usually negative yet symptoms continue to persist even after antibiotics usually Macrobid or Keflex. I usually feel better after antibiotics but a week later the symptoms will return.
I discovered about 2 weeks ago my boyfriend had another partner who he swears was clean about 6 weeks ago. We had intercourse(unprotected) prior to me finding out recently. Around the same time my uti symptoms started up again.

MY MENSTRUAL CAME 3 DAYS EARLY AND THERE IS BRIGHT RED BLOOD AND USUALLY MY MENSTRUAL BLOOD IS NOT THAT BRIGHT. I INITIIALLY WASNT DUE FOR MY MENSTRUAL UNTIL YESTERDAY I'VE BEEN BLEEDING SINCE THE 3RD AND IM STILL BLEEDING BUT NOT ALOT LIKE I WAS YESTERDAY AND THE DAYS BEFORE BUT THE BLEEDING HAS LIGHTENED.
Was in the ER weekend before last. Diagnosed me with a UTI, and put me on Macrobid 100mg BID. Got a call yesterday, they said my culture reads that the bacteria in my urine is resistant to Macrobid. So apparently they didn't do a Culture and Sensitivity test when I was in the ER like they should have. I had to pay $50 for the Macrobid that I took, that didn't and wouldn't do diddly-squat for my "UTI". I think I was misdiagnosed and mistrated with the Macrobid.
I missed taking my zoloft by 15 hours. (I'm supposed to take my 50mg at 12 midnight and I didn't remember until 3pm the next day). I took the missed dose at that time (3pm)....I JUST NOW relized that I should have just waited until tonight at 12midnight to take it. So, since I took it at 3pm, what should I do? If I take it at the scheduled time tonight then that would be 2 doses in just 9 hours. How do I get back on schedule of taking it at 12 midnight?
