1813129 tn?1316650790 The other issue you may want to check out might be hyperthyroidism. It can cause a fast heart rate and weight loss. If you haven't had it checked you might want to go to your GP to be tested. Take care, I am sure whatever it is, is nothing to worry too much over.

I was not big to begin with about 130 and currently almost down to 100.suffered for years with an eating disorder and it resurfaced recently worse than ever. was hospitalized with vomiting blood recently and after released I have no choice but to vomit after every little sip or bite of anything because even if I wamted to keep it down my body forces it out.
Avatar f tn I used to think running meant running forever and at a fast rate like a speed racer. But as long as your heart is pumping, and you don't over-exert your limits, running slower at a longer distance is always your best bet! It burns more calories!
Avatar f tn It has to do with our metabolic rate. People with fast metabolic rates have a hard time gaining weight and others with a slow a metabolic rate have a hard time losing weight. Recommend eating the high calorie foods and amounts, approximately 2500-3000 calories a day. If you are still concerned, suggest you have your thyroid checked. Thank you for your question.
Avatar f tn Here is the answer to this question. In order to lose weight, you have to subtract calories. Safe weight loss is 1-2 lbs/week, so in order to lose 1 lb/week, you'd have to drop 500 calories from your BMR each day (1 lb is equal to 3500 calories, so 500 calories X 7 days = 3500 calories or 1 lb). OR you can drop 250 calories from your diet and increase .....
2053729 tn?1330435506 According to what I have researched, my BMR is 2485 and I eat about 1800 calories a day, so I should be losing weight just being me. Add in the approximate 2000 calories I burn with my exercise and I should be melting into a puddle! We do a lot of weights, pilates, abs, pushups, strength bands and squats at my aerobics class so I know my body is changing. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? I have had my thyroid checked in the last 4 months and it was "normal".

I used to be active everyday but I haven’t been these last few months. I did have a double mesactomy this last April (for cosmetic reasons) and since then I haven’t been as active and about a month and a half after my surgery is when I noticed the fast heart rate.

I can'tstand the way I look this weight is a huge factor. I'm crying feeling so out of sorts.. I guess right now I can't explain myself .. Avatar f tn Try small meals throughout the day. If you're getting full faster, it could be you just don't have as much room with baby getting big. I haven't gained any weight yet (18 weeks) although I am gaining size, or rather my weight is moving to my belly. I think because I'm eating better than I was before I'm gaining and losing weight at an equal rate. That could be what's happening with you.

I have awful anxiety and depression so I over think and worry about everything . I haven't been taking my anxiety medicine due to risks of harming the baby and I think that's why I can't eat and am losing weight so fast. Is this dangerous or will it get better with time ?
