How long have you been taking it, and what is your dosage? If you're not new to the Losartan, then I would be willing to bet that any feelings of anxiety you're experiencing isn't related. If the anxiety was related to the medication, it would more likely present itself early on in treatment.
Definitely let your doctor know how you're feeling.
My doctor had already given me muscle relaxers and information pills, those help with the pain but it does not get rid of the problem. My physical Therapy have given me some exercise to do, that doesn't help at all. Just to give you a little bids of my heath history. I had angioplasty procedure done in 2005, I had two stents in my arteries.
Hi I'm 22 yrs old, male, 6'2 normal weight and I have been experience random muscle spasms all over my body at different times. Some are very small twitches others are a little more intense I can see my skin move.
I have high blood pressure I'm taking meds for now (losartan/hctz) highest dose. I eat a banana a day and also usually two servings of wheat bread and plenty of water so I don't think magnesium is the case here. I'm wondering if I should be worried?
I think you're wrong - I never has asthma in my life, I don't smoke and I'm not overweight. I started taking Losartan and within 2 months I had exercised-induced asthma.. do a web search.. I found other people in the same situation who developed the exact same symptoms when they started taking Losartan.
p is mostly in the range of 170/110.she also has off and on left sided chest pain with nauseating feeling.she is overwt.her ht is 5ft 4in, her wt is 84kg. she is on losartan 50mg,aspirin75mg,atenololchlorthalidone 50mg.daily.her ECG is normal.VLDL LEVELS ARE RAISED.TRIGLYCERIDES are 202 and TSH are normal. she has been advised THALLIUM SCANNING.I want to ask you should we go for it?
I agree with you, I was put on losartan and didn't have high blood pressure and felt faint, tired, dizzy. my head went numb in the back and I started to feel faint on 25-50mg a day. maybe it's better to not take it.
what happens in hypotension is that the oxygen flow to the heart and brain is actually reduced so you become faint which is terrible because then your cells start to die.

t necessarily need to stop your workouts but maybe just try and ease up a bit and not push as hard and see if giving your heart a little breather will help the ectopics settle down. In any event, try to not worry too much about the rate your heart is at and focus on keeping a healthy lifestyle which includes not over doing things and it will keep on ticking just fine.
My pain is random, intermittent, and infrequent. I'm 68 years old, and this has been going on for many years.
The pain can appear anywhere-top of head(skull or hair area), anywhere in the thorax, abdomen, arms, groin.
When it appears, it stays there-in that spot. I can ignore it, and, hours later, it will go away.

I have experienced excessive anxiety, agitation and sound sensitivity when (accidentally) double dosing Losartan. Long story, but I (for possibly weeks) was taking 200mg per day instead of my prescribed 100mg per day. ---I basically went NUTS!! I am doing better at my prescribed dose but am getting more and more suspicious of all meds in general. For instance-time released bupropion ruined my life for a while but changing to immediate release bupropion did not have the negative side-effects.
I went back to Walgreens and asked the pharmacist if there was any chance that the Apotex was inferior/impotent to the Cozaar for some reason. She assured me that could not be the case and that there could be no difference. Losartan is Losartan is Losartan.
As an experiment(with GP consensus), I doubled my dose of Apotex Losartan from 50 to 100 mg a day for one week. No change in BP. I am baffled. GP does not have a clue either. I want to try going back to Cozaar. Sound reasonable?
Hi I'm 22 yrs old, active about 225lbs 6'3 and I was wondering I've had high Bp ranging from upper 130's to 140's or sometimes 150's systolic my diastolic ranges from 70's to 85...I was wondering if heart ratehas anything to do with my high Bp..my rest hr is around 60's or 50's...does this have anything to do with higher blood pressure? Am I at risk more with a lower heart rate I'm on Bp meds losartan 50 mg...
I have been on Losartan for approximately eight months come here recently I have found it very difficult to swallow my food and seems like he gets caught in my esophagus, yesterday at two different Meals I began to choke on my food I had to drink several glasses of water in order to get my food to go down with no issues. Could this be a side effect of Losartan?
I'm newly diagnosed diabetic and taking Metformin 500mg 2x a day. I have been taking it for about 10 days and have had the worse cramps and stomach pain! I'm not sure if it is my pre menstrual, which never feels like this, or the new medication. Has anyone had stomach pains or cramps as side effect of Metformin? I'm also taking Lisinopril-HTCZ.
I was prescribed Celexa during tx for HCV, and my liver was in pretty rough shape. I had no problems with it. The other drugs I am not familiar with, so I can't shed any light there - just a layperson's experience with the Celexa.
After one month, bp was controlled at 120/80 but I now notice as if my stamina is weaker but what was
significant was the fact that there was an redness and slight itchiness on my arms and legs. But there was no pain whatsoever. Took 2 weeks off the drug and the itchiness went
away however, my heart feels like it was beating so hard.
Then I was prescribed losartan 50mg.
