hi my 12 year old daughter woke up sunday morning with a ring of purple spots under her bottom lip and in between the lip and spots it is bruise like in colour.she has not banged her mouth at all and when she goes outside her bottom lip swells and turns blue.she has been seen by a pharmacist,nurse and doctor and all were completely baffled.anyone have any ideas?? she has no pain!
There is corresponding mild post contrast enhancement. The area of edema and enhancement is irregular with with reticular morphology suggestive of scarring and measures up to 4.5cm transverse x 1.3 cm AP x 7.6 cm craniocaudal. There is also increased T2-weighted signal within thin rim enhancement at this site which measures approximately 16mm x 3.5mm and is compatible with small amount of subcutaneous fluid. No drainable fluid collection is identified.
Recently had rough Oral sex with my Parner and I woke up this morning and My vagina lip was swelled and it's turned purply/blue colour? Will this just be bruising?
3 days ago I bit through my inner bottom lip - it didn't go all the way through but there is bruising on the outside of my lower lip. It was a big gash but i didn't go and get stitches straight away. 12hrs later I went to the clinic and they said they could not stitch the gash up because of tissue (not just a bump on the lip but actual tissue through the gap) protruding through the wound. They said the tissue would shrink within a few days and the lip would heal itself.
This is in a completely different location from my initial outbreak. Also, I found what looks to be a pimple on my lip, very tiny, but what the heck? I tested negative for HSV-1. Is this HSV-2 on my lip? I haven't had an outbreak since my initial exposure almost 4 months ago. Could this be irritation from kissing?
Please tell me why these red spots could be appearing? Is it some sort of vaginal bruising or I am breaking out again? I am so nervous and scared.
Took her to the ER and the general surgeon sutured her lip. Now it is indented and her vermilion border is asymmetrical. Do I have any options for correcting the scar or is waiting the best option?

My 8 year old son's chin (below bottom lip to mid chin) looks bruised. Small purple, red dots appeared yesterday morning and now are slowly fading to a bruised look. I'm curious to know what would cause this. He hasn't had any injury to the area.

Can Lasik surgery enhancement make very small improvement in eyesight. My doctor recommends getting one of my eyes enhanced after Lasik. One eye (non dominant one)is 20/25 and I am OK with that but do wish to see better at a distance overall. The other dominant eye is 20/30 at best and does not see at distance well at all but does see up close pretty good.
Can enhancement on the dominant eye fine tune things enough for it to get to 20/20 even though it is already somewhat close at 20/30.
Stop reading symptoms lists. When people don't have a firm knowledge on how tbe virus works it makes it very difficult to understand tbe context of the symptoms. Nothing you describe sounds like herpes.
It hurts when pressure is applied to the top of the shaft / lower part of the tip. There is no discoloration or visible bruising. It does not hurt when no pressure is applied, it is only when I apply direct pressure that I notice the mild discomfort; i.e.: drying off with a towel, putting on underwear, pressing against a surface, etc. Again, no sharp pain, it feels like a dull bruising. However, it has remained for almost two weeks, which seems unusual.
I also noticed bruise near the underside of the elbow where i presume you could have an iv inserted and also normal dark bruising under the arms. I was wondering if this could be HIV? The person was kind of overweight so that may be think probably not as i heard they had been sick for over 10 years.
The reason i am concerned is i am Diabetic and often puncture my skin for blood tests etc.

Took a hard elbow to the eye playing hockey on Saturday. Swelled up pretty quickly, but didn't realize it was numb until hours later.
It's Tuesday and it is still numb 4 days later. Just the left side of my face - mostly the left side of my nose and the left top part of my mouth (not so much my lip, but my teeth/gums). Feels like I've had novocaine for 4 days.

I was told that the surgeon refused to perform an enhancement on the right eye as -0.5 difference is considered too miminal for an enhancement, and by performing an enhancement will have a risk impact if I need laser eye surgery in the future.
I'd therefore like to obtain a second opinion and would appreciate some advice as to whether what I am being told is correct.
I had maxillio facial surgery in 1997 while living in Beverly Hills, CA as I had an under bite. Surgery went well but my lower lip is still partially numb and my chin is mostly numb. I now live in Canada and in 2012, I was attacked and hit on the left side of my face. I received a concussion and bruising. In the past 9 months, I have experienced drooping on the left side of my mouth - 2 occasions - last July and now in April.
