Took her to the ER and the general surgeon sutured her lip. Now it is indented and her vermilion border is asymmetrical. Do I have any options for correcting the scar or is waiting the best option?
i am 30 yrs old female that had lasik 10 yrs ago.my prescription was -8.5 each eye and my corneal thickness was 535 mic. during the 5 yrs after surgery i had regression and my eyes now are -2 and -2.5 and it's stable for 4 yrs, i want to know can i do prk as an enhancement after initial lasik ?and am i a good candidate?i have floater and some times flashing but i don't have retinal hole or tear.
hi quix my name is mary i live in vancouver bc.i just have a couple of questions in 2006 i had ms symptoms but at the same time i had a pituitary tumour my dr. i had at the time never did an mri at the time because he was more concerned with my pituitary tumour to be operated on. so i only had mri,s focused on the pituitary instead of the whole thing.Although one of the mri reports for the pitutary mentioned that i had a subtle t1 w enhancing ovoid focus 6mm in size.

Can Lasik surgery enhancement make very small improvement in eyesight. My doctor recommends getting one of my eyes enhanced after Lasik. One eye (non dominant one)is 20/25 and I am OK with that but do wish to see better at a distance overall. The other dominant eye is 20/30 at best and does not see at distance well at all but does see up close pretty good.
Can enhancement on the dominant eye fine tune things enough for it to get to 20/20 even though it is already somewhat close at 20/30.
I just found out I have chirari and I am having no luck finding a specialist in Vancouver. Is there on in Vancouver?

I was told that the surgeon refused to perform an enhancement on the right eye as -0.5 difference is considered too miminal for an enhancement, and by performing an enhancement will have a risk impact if I need laser eye surgery in the future.
I'd therefore like to obtain a second opinion and would appreciate some advice as to whether what I am being told is correct.
