Levora low dose

Common Questions and Answers about Levora low dose

levora

Avatar f tn m getting nervous because I hear that levora is a low dose pill and they are easy to get pregnant on.. I usually take it at 8 am sometimes I'm an hour late but usually I always take it at 8. I'm on the third week of my pack so I should be starting my period next week. I just need some peace of mind because I'm really nervous.
Avatar f tn t work, so my Gyn re-prescribed Levora 3 weeks ago. Within a few days of taking Levora again I noticed that I was much more mentally vulnerable and by the third week on Levora I was completely destroyed emotionally and mentally. This last weekend I had very strong desires to kill myself by stabbing myself repeatedly. I have a great husband who has helped me stay safe and talked me through the difficult times. I am not ready for a hysterectomy/ooverectomy yet.
Avatar f tn So I took Levora from the age of like 14 through 26 (I went off of it around age 23 and got pregnant shortly after so I didn't get back on it until I stopped breastfeeding). I started getting my period very young (age 9) and I don't recall them being too irregular. Normally they'd be about 28 - 32 days in between periods. So a little irregular but still not too irregular. They were also always very heavy and painful, hence why my mother opted to put me on Levora.
Avatar f tn Another option to consider is the Paragard IUD. It doesn't have hormones and the only thing you might get is heavier periods/cramping--but this doesn't even happen to all women. The only thing about low dose birth controls is that you have to take them perfectly. There is no room to mess up, as they're very easy to fall pregnant on if you do.
Avatar f tn 2 months ago my bf and i had unprotected sex where he pulled out before i started my next pack of pills...this month i realized i missed a pill.
Avatar f tn t know. when i went in they switched me off of the yasmin and onto levora so it would be cheaper. but i never had problems with yasmin anyways. but after taking the levora i started getting anxiety not anxiety attacks but just high anxiety all the time everyday till now. i don't know if it was the levora or if it was the sinus thing because i remember feeling sort of like this the day we went to pick the levora for the first time. does anyone have any answers for me.

Avatar f tn I am 29, 5'4", about 138 lbs, reasonably healthy eater and exerciser. Have been on the pill for about the last 8 years, and two months ago when I went in for my annual exam I asked my gyn if I could switch to a lower dose hormone because I've gotten worried about all the stuff I'm pumping into my body -- especially since my fiance & I want to start trying for kids in another year or so.
Avatar f tn Im on levOra, have been for 5 mOnths. I have horrible allergies so last week I took 1 antibiotic pill to try & stop my symptoms. This was about 5 days ago. Will I get pregnant if I have sex unprotected?
Avatar n tn I've been on combination birth control for about 5 months now (first Levora, then switched to Portia 2 months in), and I've had breakthrough periods before. In the past, they were like my regular periods: lighter, but similar general consistency and flow so I would have to wear a pad. Recently, I've noticed that when I wipe, there's been light traces of blood which I thought was just my breakthrough period.
757137 tn?1347196453 Is it possible to be come addicted to a low dose of Xanax? I take half of a 0.25 mg. pill in the morning and the other half in the evening, It is most helpful but I worry that I will need increasing doses as time goes by, or that I will suffer withdrawal if I quit. Does anyone have information on this subject?
Avatar f tn s 100mg, to put that in prospective when you take aspirin for a headache you take 600mg.
Avatar f tn Anyone heard of low dose immunotherapy for treating lyme and co-infections? Specialty Natural Medicine in WA state offers this treatment for lyme. A detailed description is on their website. It's supposed to divert your immune system away from the bacteria. The thinking is that your body's immune response to the bacteria is what is causing your symptoms and that it is fighting a losing battle. It's a new treatment they say it has great success.

I know one person who started to take it and she said it took a while before she noted any affects about 6 months i think my memory isnt good any more. IF it makes you feel better after taking it could it mean that the drug makes you feel worse when you are taking it if you get my meaning? Sorry not very clear even in my head lol. This is a good web site all about it. http://www.

428506 tn?1296557399 I was wondering if anyone else has experience with low-dose (5 mg/day) oral hydrocortisone. Below I describe the role it is playing my treatment. My LLMD Rx-ed this based on my persistent, sometimes disabling, fatigue. At first I didn't take it because I was worried about potential immune suppression, since this is a steroid. But in a follow-up I was assured that this is a super low ("sub-clinical") dose. Plus I am still on abx.
Avatar f tn I'm taking birth control pills since yesterday. My doctor didn't ask me to take a pregnancy test because I was sure I wasn't. But this morning I threw up and I feel nausea. I'm also experiencing dizziness. I'm taking levora. So now idk if I'm pregnant or it's just the first effects of the pills. I talked to my doctor and she said I shouldn't be throwing up.
Avatar m tn so for the past 6 months i've been on levora, a birth control. the past couple of months i've been having aches on my right side, i'm pretty sure it's my ovary (and no i do not think it's ovulatin, those aches last only a day). these aches are on and off the whole month.i had my withdrawal bleed about 2 and a half weeks ago so i doubt i'm pregnant. i'm very good at taking the pill as well. i've been with my.
Avatar f tn Hello, If you suffer from dysmenorrhea (painful menses) or irregular menses, yes, the birth control pill can be used to help regulate your menstrual cycle and improve dysmenorrhea. In your case, having had a tubal ligation, the indication would not be for birth control but for the symptoms you describe and that is fine. I'm not sure what you mean by taking four pills. You should take it as you otherwise would: one pill at the same time each day.
