m getting nervous because I hear that levora is a low dose pill and they are easy to get pregnant on.. I usually take it at 8 am sometimes I'm an hour late but usually I always take it at 8. I'm on the third week of my pack so I should be starting my period next week. I just need some peace of mind because I'm really nervous.
The first thing you want to do is find out if your new birth control is causing your symptoms. I feel that since the Sudafed helped with your heaches and they only lasted a week, it was indeed a sinus problem, and they can cause major headaches. So no need to worry anymore about that. It may be that you are fearful that more is wrong with you, and this is feeding your anxiety as well.
Another option to consider is the Paragard IUD. It doesn't have hormones and the only thing you might get is heavier periods/cramping--but this doesn't even happen to all women. The only thing about low dose birth controls is that you have to take them perfectly. There is no room to mess up, as they're very easy to fall pregnant on if you do.
t work, so my Gyn re-prescribed Levora 3 weeks ago. Within a few days of taking Levora again I noticed that I was much more mentally vulnerable and by the third week on Levora I was completely destroyed emotionally and mentally. This last weekend I had very strong desires to kill myself by stabbing myself repeatedly. I have a great husband who has helped me stay safe and talked me through the difficult times. I am not ready for a hysterectomy/ooverectomy yet.
So I took Levora from the age of like 14 through 26 (I went off of it around age 23 and got pregnant shortly after so I didn't get back on it until I stopped breastfeeding). I started getting my period very young (age 9) and I don't recall them being too irregular. Normally they'd be about 28 - 32 days in between periods. So a little irregular but still not too irregular. They were also always very heavy and painful, hence why my mother opted to put me on Levora.
My tests show I have low estrogen (also taking birth control pill), decreased cortisol in the morning and increased at night and elevated DHEA. I'm just baffled as to why I am sweating so much. Should I get treated for the estrogen or should they level out once my thyroid is fixed? I am taking natural supplements for my adrenals and might want to try HC but I have heard not so good stories about it. Are there natural adrenal meds or how should I go abouts treating it?
All I know is that after you get pregnant you can use an ovulation monitor as a pregnancy test since it can tell an increase just like when you ovulate. I'm not sure how soon after ovulation it works though.
im 33 yo,6yrs trying to get pregnant,recently my repro-endo told me that im not ovulating bec of low estrogen level,and as of now she doesnt know the root cause of having low estrogen,since all my bloodtests were normal..is there anybody out there who experience the same thing..right now my ob instruct me to inject gonal-f.to help stimulate my eggcells..very depressing,frustrating,sometimes i want to give up and loosing hope..pls help me..
My blood work came back and I have low estrogen levels. The insurance won't cover the medication I was prescribed. Does anyone have an idea of a generic brand I can take or something over the counter?
I also have long periods of amenorrhea, though not due to low estrogen. It is possible to get pregnant after months of amenorrhea because you will most likely ovulate before you have your period. If you aren't seeing a doctor you should because the problems that cause amenorrhea can also cause other problems like bone density loss. Depending on your diagnosis, they may wish to supplement your hormones in order to keep you cycling at least every other month.
They can then determine if you really are low estrogen. And if it is so low that you have these types of issues, then you can perhaps take BC with estrogen and bump back up to get regulated again. I had the opposite for a good while of TOO much production of estrogen which acted like a natural birth control pill, infrequent periods, melisma on the face (lovely), etc. That was a bummer. But definitely, out of nowhere, hormones can get out of whack.
High levels of estrogen cause unexplained weight gain and feeling fatigued or lethargic. Low thyroid hormone is a consideration since there is family history of thyroid disease but high estrogen is a more likely cause in my opinion. My estrogen level was low at my last blood test which was 5 days after a 5dt. It was 47 and they said it should be around 100. They gave me supplements to take twice a day. This happened to me last try and it didn't work. Has anyone else had low estrogen like me and still had a positive pregnancy test?
I am 47 and have low progesterone, low estrogen, and low testosterone, so I am never sure which is the culprit when I have a strong symptom. I keep searching for the difference between low estrogen symptoms and low progesterone but the only differences I have been able to ascertain so far are low estrogen= hot flashes and night sweats. Low progesterone= extreme irritability and breast tenderness.
Yes I have a copy of my results. It's hard to understand. I guess I should look under Estradiol. It says mid-follicular phase is 57! So that is low? Mid- luteal is 126. I'm not sure if I am reading it correct because there are 3 numbers and the numbers I've read is under Lower Limit.
