Hallo every 1 just a question went to Dr and he gave me levofloxacin 500mg for 7 days did not skip dose took pill as Dr said didn't have entercourse or nothing tomorrow is my last pill why do I still feel inching inside my urethra not constant can it maybe be trichomoniasis or what's going on here. I'm very stressed over this constant pressing and looking for dischard and and and.
Got retested a month after, chlamydia tested positive again. They prescribed me Levofloxacin for 7 days, 1 pill a day, of which i took the last pill monday. Today we are wednesday. Now one of the symptoms i was having was a slight sticky clear discharge at the tip of my penis. This symptom was not present during the whole 7 days i took the levofloxacin. But now 2 days after i took that last pill, that symptom is present again.
I went back for a re-test on the last day of the doxycycline, but still came back positive for chlamydia. So currently I’m taking a 14 day prescription for Levofloxacin. I’m on my 6th day. Still no symptoms. No pain after urination, no discharge, and no testicular pain.
My questions are:
1.) Should I be concerned since this is my third antibiotic treatment for chlamydia?
2.) Am I able to drink coffee? I read on some sites that I shouldn’t drink coffee.

Sure, there are lots of antibiotics. If you're allergic to azithromycin, you also probably can't take clarithromycin and erythromycin. I and my husband received IV continous infusion Clindamycin treatment times 7 days and the followup testing showed we were both positive with clamydia. I still have pain in my right kidney that I usually have with chronic UTI. I am taking Cipro now for E. facelis but infection will not go away. It is too the point I don't want to have intercourse with my husband. Also did two months of oral macrobid and clarithomycin both I and my husband. Don't know what to do please advise.

My urine and throat swab PCR test results came back yesterday. I'm clear of Gonnorrhea and Clamydia however I tested positive for Mycoplasma Hominis and Mycoplasma Genitalium.

The Levofloxacin is for the Staph infection and show help cure the staph. You need to take the pills as prescribed and finish them at the end of the course. Try to gently wash the area with soap and water. Don't scrub it and don't use a wash rag as it is too rough. Wash your hands after touching it. The Levofloxacin won't work on the yeast. It is an antibiotic and works on the bacteria only. If you have yeast you can try one of those over the counter 3 day anti yeast treatments.

So I went back to my dr yesterday due to my glands continuing to ache and now my testicles seem to be aching along with tightness and discomfort in my lower back. I did not have intercourse between the two periods.
