night sweats. My doctor diagnosed me with pneumonia and prescribed levofloxacin. Levofloxacin was taken from 02/24 to 03/02. I was supposed to be ovulating from 02/23 to 03/01, peak time being around the 28th. My period was due on 03/14 and it still has not arrived. I have taken two pregnancy tests which came out negative.

Two nights ago woke up from sleep in middle of night with terrible headache on my left side about the eye I had the laser surgery. The headache went away shortly after getting up for the day. Last night as soon as I laid down to bed I got the bad headache in the same place along with eye pain in my left eye.

Thanks for the response. I was originally put on Levaquin after a foot surgery went bad. The incision was bleeding under the cast in recovery room but all they did was add more cast material. Same thing three days later in the doctors office. By the time the cast came off, the tissue maserrated. It took five months to heal up. Then he kept me on it for the next surgery. Then bronchitis/surgery in a vicious cycle for 4 years. Finally, my new doctor stopped it.

I am a 22 y.o. male; 1 sexual partner lifetime, female, (for 2.5 years), we last had intercourse 6 mos. before the epididymitis flared up.
Problem started while I was taking minocycline for acne. Went in to student health. NP RXed 10 days doxycycline, 100 mg PO BID, sent me to ER. Had an ultrasound, confirmed it was epididymitis plus a hydrocele. They gave me a shot of ceftriaxone and told me to continue with the doxycycline.

m having a hard time finding much information about how a MRSA throat infection is treated, however. I did read on drugs.com that pneumonia caused by staph should be treated for 7-10 days with Azithromycin, with the first two days by IV.. and I am worried that it's spread to his lung (which he says is hurting).. so still concerned that 4 days isn't enough. I ended up needing 3 rounds of the levofloxacin, and ended up needing to do a week of each for the prednisone, so it was more like 60mg for 7 days, 50mg 7 days, 40 for 7 days, etc. until I was finally able to come off of it and was no longer having breathing issues. She also had me on advair 250/50 for this time period to get me off the prednisone faster. With all that prednisone, I went up to about 250lbs.
I immediately went to see an urologist, after telling him everything, he gave me a shot of Ceftriaxone at the center vein of the right arm and prescribed me two pills, Azee 500mg and Levofloxacin 750mg, 5 tablets each over 5 days after lunch(azee) and before sleep(levofloxacin).
Today is the second day of my course and the burning sensation while urinating has reduced from before but the eyes still stay red throughout the day.
I believed I had epididmytitis earlier. I took levaquin. Later, I wondered if there could be any chance of contracting HIV. Anyhow, I know that the only way is to get tested, but while waiting for a good time to get tested, as it's still a bit early to get an accurate result, I'd like to ask the question in the title. I know that levaquin is for killing bacteria and that HIV is a virus. Yet, can levaquin indirectly prevent ars symptoms from showing up?
If Levofloxacin caused peripherial neuropathy will Cipro also if I take that as an alternate?
my scrotum is not itchy, but i have some not so pleasant tingling , and a burning sensation , happened imediately afer i had sex . for 3 weeks i dont feel getting any better after i tried levofloxacin , applying Methylprednisolone aceponate gel , metronidazole, antifungal (containing nystatin , neomycin sulfate, triamcinolone acetonide) gel. my sack looks very loose.
