My bet is that your penile pain had nothing to do with the oral sex event. Pain without discharge is not a common STD symptom in men; even when discharge and pain are present, the pain comonent typically is trivial, only a little minor discomfort on urination.

1) What STDs from oral sex? Chlamydia zero, HIV almost zero, syphilis extremely rare, HPV zero to low.
The chlamydia blood tests are not at all accurate and we do not offer them in my STD clinic. A positive result can occur in anyone who has ever had a chlamydial infection; it does not diagnose a current, active infection. Further, some positive results come from past chlamydia-like infections of the respiratory tract, like bronchitis.

I am a male, and 8 days ago I had oral sex and very short (less than a minute) unprotected vaginal sex. Because I freaked out, I took Levaquin (2 tablets, not sure of the mg, but very large pills). I took the pills 3 days ago.
Today I got very ill, with a sore throat and noticed that I have a sore testicle. The soreness in my testicle is not my imagination, it is pretty tender.
Given 2g of Flagyl over 2 days (4 pills each day) and 30 days of Levaquin 500 mg. Was told I probably had no std and the Flagyl would kill potential NGU / Clamydia if present and Levaquin would take care of Gonorrhea. Other risks he said were not valid with no apparent viral sores on mouth of partner. Took the Flagyl and 4 days of Levaquin and resumed contact with normal monogomous partner.
I had a cold about 6 weeks ago and my doctor thought I hand sinusitis and prescribed me a z-pack. I did not tell him about the unprotected sex at that time. The cough has only seemed to gotten worse over time and they have now prescribed me 500mg levaquin with the same diagnosis. I have no redness, bumps, rash, etc. Is there any chance that these symptoms are related to an oral STD. There was no fluid exchanged so maybe that helps some. Should I have anything to worry about?
One night I was going crazy, so I did some research and talked to some people and said to try levaquin so I called the doctor and got 2 weeks of 250mg fo levaquin, no change yet. Went to the doctors yesterday he did a ultrasound of the prostate and said it did not look inlarged but he said there was some stones in there but that is not a problem. As of right now he gave me more levaquin 500mg this time for 3 weeks.
s say that the doctor calls me before the weekend and says that I did indeed have a bacterial infection that the Levaquin treated and all other tests came back negative (this is a hypothetical situation obviously). I started taking it today (Monday); by the time Saturday rolls around, I will have taken my 6/7 dose.
My question is this: will I still be able to transmit any infection that I may have right now? Or will the Levaquin have made it so I am no longer contagious?
You need to move beyond your apparent obsession with STD as a possible cause of your problem. You have no STD and almost certainly your problem has nothing to do with your sexual behavior or exposures. You have nothing that is likely to seriously harm you in the long run and nothing that can harm a sex partner.

I don't give doses to people who haven't been to the doctor. I don't believe in self treating, and I'm sure with a little research, you could find out for yourself.
I've worked in the std field for a long time, as an educator and disease intervention specialist/tracker. I've also done HIV and Hep C testing.
You need to go to the doctor and get proper testing. You could have a UTI. That is not std related. Taking antibiotics unnecessarily and improperly can cause you to have other problems because they kill good as well as bad bacteria. Check with your local health department or planned parenthood for recommendations for free or low cost confidential std screening.
I went to my Primary Care Physician to get this diagnosed and he put me on a 2 week dose of Levaquin. He took a urine sample at that time, but was not looking for STD's specifically. He said he noticed a little bacteria in the urine. My question is...I have read that Prostatitis can be a sign of an STD. What STD's could this be a sign of? Does this sound like the case here? I haven't had any burning when I pee or lesions around the penis.
I went to the doctor about a week after the oral sex and was tested for Clamydia and Gonorhea, and a UTI (all were urine tests). All tests were negative. I talked to the girl who gave me the oral sex and she got tested by throat swab for clamydia and gonorhea and was negative (so she says... I mostly trust her). I was given Levaquin 500mg for a month by my doctor... also saw the urologist 2 weeks later. Both doctors said they don't think it is a STD... but not for sure.
After a week finishing the medication did Urine STD test(14 days post exposure and 7 days post doxy) and all came back negative. But since then i have been having pain on my right abdomen below stomach. Went for another test 22 days post exposur 15 days after doxy for urine STD test. All came back negative? Is this conclusive? Also i have visited GUM clinic to check for any syphilis lesion or rash, doctor examined and said everything looks fine.
At this point I still had a bit of swelling in the testicle and spoke with my urologist and was prescribed another course of levaquin. ive taken it for 7 days now and see that i am still having the clear discharge and have some discomfort.
also, i was also treated for a mycoplasma pnemonia infection about 3 weeks prior and was given clarithomycin for 10 days.
i went to a new doctor, because I just moved out of state, and am waiting the results of a urinalysis.
He told me I had prostatist and put me on levaquin 500mg. for a month and two weeks. I still been having pain in groin now and the last time I went to the urouligist he said me and wife had inflammation. Just take ibprofen 500 mg for inflammation. He said, that vaginities is just inflammation also.

Recently I saw my MD and she ordered several blood tests and MRI to look for MS and other peripheral neuropathy causes. All blood tests and the MRI were normal. I think that I have had a severe drug reaction and do you think the shooting pain is Levaquin related? I took Ibuprofen for the tendon pain for 2 years starting the day after I finished the Levaquin 3 years ago. Did this increase the nerve damage? I have no balance or muscular strength problems.
It's been a year and a half since my exposure, which involved a insertive oral, the girl had bloody mouth. I've had dysuria, urethritis for a year and a half. Had taken levaquin, cipro, doxycycline, azythromycin, and cef. None worked. Could I have gotten genito-urinary tuberculosis, or tuberculosis urethritis from a bloody blowjob?
I was given a shot of Rocephin and a script for Doxy, which I started. After 2 days I went to see an STD specialist. He took a urine sample (hadn't peed for one hour) and noticed white blood cells. He then stopped the doxy, gave me one gram of azith, and put me on flagyl (100mg 2x daily) to deal with possible trich. The following day the tip of my penis started to become a little red at the tip, which it was not before. I started to notice minor discharge as well.
About 10 years ago I had an almost identical situation and the doctor said I had prostititis and placed me on a 30 day course of Levaquin. This helped some and if I had symptoms they we very mild. This time I went to a urologist and my urine culture came back negative. He examined my prostate but did not seem to think I have prostititis. He did however place me on a 30 day course of Levaquin which I am about 1/2 way through.
