After a couple of days I started feeling pain in my upper chest, shoulder, down my right arm and right underarm. The pain feels like a needle is jabbing me. Sometimes the pain will go away and somtimes it is very bad and lasts for weeks at a time. I also have some musle pain in these areas. Can you please help me figure out what to do about this.
I did find that taking 3 mg of boron a day (purchased at a health food store) inactivates the fluoride and got rid of the joint pain and burning in about a week. However to this day 4 years later the tightness in my leg remains. I worked with a trainer and my muscles are fine now. These drugs should be avoided at all cost!
At the beginning of August, I was awoken with pain in my lower right quadrant, that continued to get worse until I went to the ER early that afternoon, and by the time I saw the doctor, the pain had spread to my upper left quadrant, and radiated around to my back. The doctor I saw thought I may have a kidney stone or a ruptured ovarian cyst, and sent me home to rest with some pain medication.
s say that the doctor calls me before the weekend and says that I did indeed have a bacterial infection that the Levaquin treated and all other tests came back negative (this is a hypothetical situation obviously). I started taking it today (Monday); by the time Saturday rolls around, I will have taken my 6/7 dose.
My question is this: will I still be able to transmit any infection that I may have right now? Or will the Levaquin have made it so I am no longer contagious?
my urologist now wants to put me on a round of amitriptyline since the inflammation has not totally receded and since there has a decent amount of pain. Urine test both before and after a prostate exam have been negative, and both ultrasounds I've done seem to be normal, with the exception of some small, bilateral hydroceles.
For the past year, I've noticed a lump on my back, on the left side, underneath the skin has been about the size of a quarter. My skin is smooth, and to the touch it felt like a pimple, able to be moved around. I was treated anyway with levaquin because i was exposed to strep, but culture came back neg. I cleared up and everything was fine for a few weeks until I noticed one day that I still had a little swelling and one spot of pus on my left tonsil, but not really any pain. I went back to doctor and went on another cycle of levaquin. The swelling still remained and the spot remained too, until I took a Q tip and wiped it away myself (lol gross, but it was bothering me).
The typical symptoms of prostatitis are fever, pelvic, testicle, or rectal pain, frequent and painful urination and ejaculation and incomplete emptying of bladder. In addition to the antibiotics, use medications to help relieve bothersome symptoms, such as alpha blockers to relieve urinary symptoms and anti-inflammatory medications for pain.

Earlier this year, i went to ER with a swollen testicle and was given doxy. i was then sent to a urologist and everything came back normal beside a large hydrocele. i was prescribed levaquin for 14 days, that seemed to work. now the second part of the question.
2.) i'm not sure of the cause but was diagnosed with NGU - chlamydia and gonnoreah were negative.
They switched my ab to Levaquin 250 for 7 days. No change in the infection, still had diarrhea, joint pain and back pain. AB was switched to Levaquin 500 for 10 days and I honestly felt GREAT!! 3 - 4 days all symptoms came back so they put on Levaquin 250 again. I had to give a stool sample and get a colonscopy - which came back negative. The stool sample showed no bacteria so I stopped the Levaquin as tinging came back. I have gone down hill since.
I took azithromizin 500mg one a day for 6 days for a sinus infection I had at the time and still had the burning and pain with no discharge. I have just started taking Levaquin 500mg once a day. So my questions are what Std's could I have gotten from my female partner doing oral sex on me? Will the antibiotics take care of naything I could have contracted when she performed oral sex on me. Also, the day after the oral sex i had unprotected intercourse with another female partner.
ve been on Levaquin twice. Ugh!!! I have severe joint pain and fatigue both times. I have a really high pain tolerance and was allergic to my other options at the time, so I toughed out the 10 days both times. I don't recommend that and my doctor has promised to figure out an alternative for future infections. The first time, the serious fatigue and joint pain lasted about 3 weeks total (including the 10 days). The second time it was about 5 weeks.
I was on levofloxacin (Levaquin) for my Bart, and I had to stop after six weeks when I developed pain in my left achilles heel. I was disappointed as my anxiety pretty much disappeared on it. I've got tendonitis all over my body for the past 4 years (Elbows, achiles, pectoralis etc.. On top of that I have bone to bone cartilage degeneration on most of my joints (knees, elbows).

I still have extreme sensitivity and the muscle aches and joint pain are pretty bad, coming and going but always there. Its also accompanied with a sore/swollen throat I've had for 2 weeks.
My main question is about the aches and joint pain and sore throat. Can Herpes do this? I suspect I picked up the virus about 3 months before my first signs of pain. Can these aches and pains be from herpes? I'm also worried about it possibly being CFS, but not really fatigued at all.
I went in to my new doctor the next day (the pain had already started to go away before I saw him) and he called it epididymitis as well. He perscribed Levaquin for a week and I felt fine after that. I ended up traveling to Ecuador and became ill with some sort of food poisoning during the last 2 or 3 days of my antibiotics cycle. The food poisoning passed I thought and I had sex with my girlfriend.
I went back to the Doctor and he prescribe me Levitra for erectile dysfunction and told me that other patients have secondary effects after taking Levaquin. So, I took the Levitra and I started gettin my erections back and ejaculated without pain. After a month he switch me to Cialis, then after month of taking cialis I decided to stop taking cialis because I was able to get erections on my own, but a few days ago I started having painful ejaculations.
My husband was diagnosed with Bacterial Pneumonia and was prescribed Levaquin. He has been off the medication for about a week and a half and he is still experiencing phobic attacks in the morning. He wakes up in a panic and believes that he cannot breath. While he was taking the drug he experienced major confusion, anxiety, depression and dizziness. It was awful! He even experienced a very bad episode when he became abusive...and delusional.
