Last Wednesday I got my period, and I began taking Kariva Birth Control. On friday, My boyfriend and I decided to have sex, which was dumb, but we used a condom with spermicide on it and in it. After a little bit, the condom popped and he pulled out immediately without ejaculating at all. Then we were finished.
I know that people say that girls can get pregnant on their periods, however, i was only on the 3rd day of my cycle and i highly doubt that i could have ovulated so early...
Okay, so I am a seventeen year old girl and I recently started the Yasmin Birth Control Pill. My doctor told me to start taking the Yellow pill (hormone pill) on the first day of my period which I found a little confusing as it is meant to stop your period.

I am a 17 year old girl and I have been on birth control pills for a little over a year and a half now. I was originally prescribed Ortho-Tricyclen Lo but was switched to Kariva in May of this year because it was said to be the "less expensive generic brand" of Tricyclen Lo. I always felt a little more irritable and noticed my skin got a little more sensitive when I originally started taking the pill, but nothing too bad.
m a 21 year old who just stopped the pill after 5 years of being on it consistently. In October I was switched from Azzurette to Kariva, just a generic brand switch. I hated it and decided to go natural and stop the pill all-together around November 13. I got my "withdrawal period" right after.
I was on the pill for about 3 years, i was skipping the sugar pill for about 6-9 months, i have been off the pill for about 9 months, my period was normal for 2 months, then i didnt have any sign of a period for 6 months, now i have had them for 2 weeks, and very heavy... Is it because i skipped the pill? Could that have caused any damage? Or could this just be that i have irregular periods.. Im starting to worry, but not sure if its nothing or worth going to the doctors for it. Thanks again!
What do you mean skipping? As in the "frolicking" type of skipping..? Never heard this, and I believe that is just plain bogus.

well, i took three period pills, got my period, so i started back on my regular pills skipping four of my period pills. well, ive taken six regular pills already and im STILL on my period. its the brown "after" blood thats coming out. but im wondering why after six days im still getting it? is it just ALOT of it because i skipped it for two months? is it something else? help please?!
I intentionally skipped my period last month by skipping the placebos in the pack while on vacation. I've finished my current pack but have not gotten my period yet. I'm supposed to start the active pills in my new pack tomorrow but I'm concerned about missing another period. I've been on this brand for almost 2 years and have never missed a period before. I don't think I'm pregnant because I've taken all my pills regularly. Has anyone else ever experienced this?
t had a period since Dec 12th lol. For a second I was nervous as hell. I had a period Oct. something lol and then I skipped Nov and had Dec 12th period and then skipped Jan and now having a period what Feb 11th!! I guess I'm going to be skipping every other month or something.. I don't get why I have my Ovulation two weeks after my period lol. That website yall sent me too says I ovulate on the month I don't have a period.
s to put me on a Z-Pack. This was back in October (Oct. 27th to be exact). That week I was supposed to get my period on October 31 like I always do. Typically my period lasts between 3 and 4 days with it being heavy on the first day and lighter the next 2 or 3 because I switched to Kariva 2 years ago in August. I didn't get my period till Saturday and when I did get it, it only lasted about a day (almost half a day), but I did get it.
t get a period. Your cycle is longer rather than skipping a period, if that makes sense. This can happen for a variety of reasons. Stress, illness, weight gain or loss, issues with thyroid, changes in routine, etc. I'd wait to see if you get it in another 15 days and if not, see your doctor to determine what is going on.
Hello there, yes you are right you can do this, I have done it myself for such occasions, nobody wants to have a period on holiday!
A few months before this, I began having issues with my cycle. I wasn’t getting my period, I got my period early plus the full week I was supposed to, and then I was spotting several days a month. I then found out I had Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and started treatment hoping that would help. I didn't. I went on Portia 28 for 5 months, Junel 1.5 30 tab for 3 months and now I’m on Junel 1/20. Next week will be the end of the 2nd month on that for me.
I have recently started having the feeling that my heart is skipping a beat. My Dr. did ECG and told me it was PVC's and they were normal and she kind blew it off. My question is should I be concerned and what should be my next step. This is happening many times through out the day but only when I am resting. Blood Pressure is normal as well as pulse. No other symptoms.
