afterwards, i felt somewhat okay, but about two to three days after i started to feel this uncomfortable pain in my lower jaw bone. the pain is felt in my jaw, my throat, my temple, my neck and my ear. i am having constant headaches. the painkillers do help to ease the pain and discomfort throughout the day, but at night it becomes intolerable and extremely uncomfortable, making sleeping quite the chore. i have been in pain for a few days now, and am worried as to what it may be.

I have never had such pain before after a tooth extraction. Why are my gum lines feeling sore. It is no where near the tooth extraction?

To make a long story short, I have been to doctors 7 times since tooth extraction for aches face, jaw, neck, ears clogging, upper left arm aching, swollen glands under chin, as well as two chest colds, and also diagnosed with sinusitis. I am now on my 5th round of antibotics in 8 months. And each time I finish I feel good for a week or two and the symptoms return.

I ignore it, because the pain subsided, no swollen jaw and face no tooth ache at all. But after two days I started to feel sick, severe dizziness as if something is eating my energy inside my body, i feel pressure at the back of my head. Extreme fatigue, muscle ache and weakness, GERD, spaced out, balance problem. I can't concentrate, I want to just lie down in our bed and just sleep.

after having a tooth pulled it leaves a hard trama to your jaw and around the area it was pulled from so yes you will be in pain and yes some swelling will happen. I had the same issue after having a bad tooth removed.it took about 2 months for that knot to finally go away, use an ice pack on the side ot where the knot is, it will help sooth the pain. 2 days ago i just had 6 teeth pulled and guess what, i got the knot back again.

what ever happened with your jaw alignment problem?? because 2 months after my bottom wisdom tooth removals my jaw looks very uneven and still i have pain and numbness around the area of the removal. i have yet to get an x ray of my jaw but had x rays of the area where the removal took place. im just confused and dont know what to do.

Dentist prescribed amoxicillin n paracetamol 650mg for the pain . Said that tooth extraction will be done only after delivery . But I'm in so much pain even after taking medicines. Is there no safe anesthesia that can be used on me during extraction ?

The tooth taken out was a baby tooth - I have congenitally missing 2nd premolars on my lower jaw. Yes the pain has gone. Today he can open his jaw wider and most of the swelling under the jaw has subsided. However the swelling under his tongue seems worse.

It may be what we call a bony spicule, which is a small piece of tooth or jaw bone that is left in the socket after the extraction. They can remove it quite quickly and the area will heal up fast.

hi , thx for the response,actually i have got all his tests done Hb is 10.5 g, bld sugar is normal, no sharp teeth,no teeth extraction on left lower jaw, dental hygiene is good. no addictions or spicey food.

The extractions themselves were done at the dental unit of my local hospital under sedation as it has been found that I go into shock after having an extraction. Something I first discovered when I fainted about 4 hours after having extractions previously. Since then I either faint or am sick anytime between half an hour to 6 hours after an extraction.
