Is azurette and kariva the same

Common Questions and Answers about Is azurette and kariva the same

mircette

Avatar n tn I finished my Junel Fe and got my period, then started Azurette on the Sunday after my period. I had the condom break the following Sunday after.(so I had 8 Azurette pills in my system when it broke, all taken on time). I immeditatly took Plan B after, and also took 2 Azurette pills from another pack because I was freaking out. I am now concerned that I caused ovulation (if this is possible from birth control overdose??
Avatar f tn In the early months I get bad period and pms symptoms that go away over time. So if Loestrin is working well for your migraines you might want to stick it out and see if the other issues subside.
Avatar m tn so I was wondering if the switch could have anything to do with it even though they are basically the same birth control. I am due for my period on Tuesday the 29th. I am very confused as to why this is happening so I'm wondering if you have any ideas or explanations!
Avatar f tn I was orginally on Depo-Provera for 1 1/2 years (never had a period), switched to Seasonale (major nausea), then switched to Tri-Sprintec (my chest got huge on this pill), and then to Kariva (was great!). I was on Kariva for 10 months. I never took the placebo week, so I never had a 'period'. However, if and when I missed a pill or took it a little late, I always had spotting for a day or two.
Avatar n tn I started taking Azurette birth control 3 weeks ago when my period first started and it hasn't stopped ever since. Something doesn't sit right with me about this. The only reason I'm taking birth control is to stop my heavy flow and irregular cycle, so this shouldn't be happening. My current flow isn't too heavy, but definitely not spotting. My GYN says it's normal but Idk...please help.
Avatar f tn I can't say what your experiencing, but hormone imbalance can cause all the problems associated with anxiety or depression. I would trust your instinct and go off the birth control and see if the problems go away; that'll answer your question about whether it's the cause or not.
Dinosaur I do the same thing and take my pills for a few months at a time skipping the placebos. I'm not sure what you're referring to when you skip the reduced hormone pills, because I thought you could only skip the placebo pills if you were on a monophasic drug (not triphasic). To answer your question, though, I also get break through bleeding if I've been doing this for 3 months or so. I think it just means that your body is ready to have a period.
Avatar m tn I am on Kariva birth control. I missed 2 or 3 pills the week that i had sex. We used protection everytime except penetration once for like 30 but he did not ejaculate. I took plan b (the one pill version) between th 48 and 72 hour mark. It has been 2 weeks since and my period has been a couple days late and very very light (dark brown). I know that the plan b causes disruptions in menstrating and so does missing pills but id like to lnow if im just overly paranoid.
Avatar f tn and all of the sudden i go to the ER with abdominal pain about 3 days ago and turns out i am 17 weeks pregnant. I'm in COMPLETE shock along with my husband. I immidiately called my old OBGYN and made an appointment but they gave it to me until next week. So my question is HAS ANYONE EVER FOUND OUT THEY WERE THAT FAR ALING IN PREGNANCY?! I'm scared .
Avatar n tn I complained to the doctor about occasional fatigue, spells of dizziness, hair loss and my nails not growing. After 2 months on the medication I feel exactly the same way I felt before I started taking them which is pretty good for the most part. My numbers as of today are: T3 Intake - 25%; T4 Free - 1.3; TSH, 3rd Generation - 1.22, but T4 Total is still 12.6 which is above the norm. I also take Kariva as a birth control.
Avatar f tn I do take the medication same time every day without any thing else. I checked and the levoxly is not a generic and I do not take any other drugs (except Kariva at night). I would not know why my hair is falling out or what to ask the doctor to check. I am so worried that I will be the only bald one in my family.
Avatar f tn orthotrycyclinn made me have two cycles a month but every pill they gave me did that instead of makeing my periouds lighter it made me have more and heavier ones, plus i lost a lot of weight on birth control i was on kariva, low loesestrin fe, abri, orthottycyclin, and two other ones all of them did the same thing they helped witht he cramps but i had more cycles than i was suppposed to.
Avatar f tn Anyway, I have now almost finished my first sheet and I am up to the White suger pills which bring on your period, but the thing is I have now had my period for over two weeks (the whole time I have been taking the pill) and I am worried as to why? I had sex a week before I went on the pill but I don't think I'm pregnant? I need so advice please.
1063764 tn?1272821064 m trying to figure out if the levothyroxine is the cause. My endocrinologist told me that my thyroid function was normal without the medication but I am taking it because I have nodules (the medication slows down their growth.) Which leads me to believe that I have an overproduction of hormones in my system. I am also on the birth control pill Kariva.
Avatar m tn In October I was switched from Azzurette to Kariva, just a generic brand switch. I hated it and decided to go natural and stop the pill all-together around November 13. I got my "withdrawal period" right after. Meanwhile, the last time I had sex with my boyfriend was October 14, and on October 28 I got a very short light period, which I couldn't tell was a result of the generic switch or if it was implantation bleeding.
11728532 tn?1451774466 My Gynocologist told me that I had a very sensitive cervix and my partner could have added to some of the pain as well. Sex was painful for me until I found the right partner and positions while having PCOS.
1106081 tn?1289166025 I think it might be silly question.. but i really need to know this.... My Gyno Suggested that i take a HSG(on cd8-10) and Biopsy(On cd22-24) to check the uterine lining in my next cycle.. I m wondering if she actually meant Laproscopy instead of biopsy as she also mentioned abt taking x-rays and checking for the shape of the uterus... but she used the word 'biopsy'.. Here in belgium the Gynos are not very good in english...so i m kind of confused now...
Avatar m tn Is having low risk hpv on your cervix the same thing as actually having a wart on it or is it just cell changes from the virus? Also does your penis actually touch a womans cervix when you have sex?
Avatar f tn so they look to ur scar and it is healed so u should be too....and as well all know too well that is not always the case. I pray the LP can give u some answers. Good Luck.

Avatar f tn Is a thyroid goiter and mass the same thing? Would the TSH result be normal with a goiter and or mass? Would a person feel fatigue with this mass/goiter? What is the recovery period if it is removed?
Avatar n tn By the way the put her back at june 7th meant that puts her at concieving on June 7th no her due date.
