Avatar m tn I done last thursday and got the results back stating I have thickening of my stomach lining. I started with mild gastritis symptoms a couple years ago that two weeks ago became full blown which is why the doctor ordered the barium. I have been taking losec with some moderate improvement of symptoms and do not feel near deaths door like last week. I just am very worried about this thickening and worry it could be stomach cancer. Anyone else experience this with GERD or gastritis??

As in a different strain from the second person. I'm wondering if I'm still going through an extended seroconversion this is why no antibody shows up anything. I took a PCR DNA test and that didn't show up anything at all.

Avatar f tn I had no ulcers and no bacterial infection. He also mentioned that I had a lot of bile in my stomach. But nothing was done about that. I got pantoprazole after that procedure. But no instructions were given on how to proceed after that. After the pantoprazole was finished i was fine for about 2-3 months (feb 2016 to may 2016). But then the symptoms came back. Not the sharp pain but discomfort. So I started taking zantac again. As soon as it got better I reduced the dosis to no medicine.

These are really rather generalized symptoms and could be caused by a number of things.
Avatar n tn If she does have an ulcer, she needs to stay away from acidic foods when it flares. This will make it burn worse, some people have the same reaction to spicy foods. If she is under a lot of stress, it will cause an ulcer to flare. I have one and have the same feeling of intense heartburn, and if it gets really bad, I do feel nauseas. Drinking milk usually helps, because it coats the lining of your stomach so that the burning calms down.
